In a Monastery Garden--Columbia Salon Orch., 1939

Albert Ketelbey and the Columbia Salon Orchestra return, in the same amazing fidelity (from 8/15/1939). "In a Monastery Garden" (1915) was only 24 years old when this was made, and evidently it was already a "Pops" concert standard. To be reinvented as "mood" music, come the early 1950s or so.
