SoFi is nice all around for long-term investors and finance in general (minus day trading). They also offer student loans, home loans, life insurance, and contractual wills.

You skipped over the fact that the SoFi ETF is not the S&P 500 since it says "SoFi weights each company based on three key growth signals, not just market capitalization as many traditional indexed ETFs do." I would love to hear your thoughts on this point and also I'd like some info about how different from the S&P their companies are.

good job uprise you break down a company to see if you notice anything unusual about a company. by looking into a company you can see if they are maybe doing something crooked. if there website looks in order you can tell whether they are a legit company.

That's strange, I managed to be accepted even though I went through consumer bankruptcy last year. I did open up a checking and saving account with them at the same time not sure if that helped.

The card is so-so. It’s designed to work with other SoFi accounts, so it definitely doesn’t make sense if you don’t have other SoFi products, like their savings account (which is actually quite good right now!) or their investment / crypto accounts.
Through the end of June 2022, they’re having a promotion for 3% cash back, but then it reverts back to 2% cash back. There are a lot of other 2% cash back / no annual fee cards (like the Citi Double Cash) out there that don’t have these hoops to jump through… so I’d probably pass on this one. It annoys me a lot when there’s a lot of fine print to wade through and the SoFi cc website is jam packed with little asterisks.
