Idk if I understood,but my theory: the girl with purple kimono was sad because everyone had a friend/partner and she was all alone,she suffered a lot until that monster came,she was happy she had someone but she was getting kinda concerned when she saw that everyone was with other people and she was with a creepy monster
You could also say a parent too, because Chihiro (the purple kimono) is an orphan. Resulting that one of the worshippers or accompany of Enzukai was sent there to be somewhat assigned guardian of Chihiro. If you played the game, Chihiro mentions her mother which was the black horrid monster.

She got jealous of them, but soon enough her jealousy turned into anger and grief. She started to go insane and get upset as the days pass and she sees more people being happy with their parents, and soon enough she would pray every day to get someone by her side. A parent, a friend, anybody. As the days went by, one day, she finally got her wish. Chihiro met the tall woman, and she referred her to her own mother. Chihiro and the tall woman became friends, and the tall woman would kill any person that would bother Chihiro for Chihiro’s trust and love.

Just finished the game, and oh my god. I am beyond spellbound, I usually don’t write such comments but this really deserves it. It’s like no other chapter I’ve ever played. The creativity, thought and effort put into not only the development of the game but also the lore. It somehow made my blood curl although it’s just a game, it’s simply so realistic and can get you immersed in itself so quickly it’s almost like magic. The voice acting and the jumpscares, the way the monsters have been modeled everything about it simply beyond my words. I was so on-edge at every point in time! This is a longer chapter and of course a little more difficult than most, but that’s what allows it to incorporate all the details. Thank you so so much devs! The time we spent waiting was definitely not in vain.

Okay genuine question, I just finished this chapter and I was wondering if there was a book to tell the story of chihrio? like in chapter I of jealousy there’s a book to tell the story about rin and mio. But I didn’t see a book to tell the story of chihrio in chapter II.

My take: chihiro Was a orphan Girl that longed for a mother or father. Her bitterness turned into jealousy and more longing for a mother or father. One night, she prayed to jealously for a mother, and jealously responded simply giving her what she wanted. But the mother was also extremely jealous of people who came in contact with chihiro and hurt/ killed them. Chihiros mental Health slowly began to deteriorate because of “mother” and wanted to hurt/kill people who were happy with their family. and the monster jealously made her a puppet, along with “mother.”
My theory is pretty simple: Basically Cihiro becomes jealous for all those children in the village beacuse they spend time and have fun with their mothers and beacuse of this jealousy she would do anything to have a mother figure of her own. What happens is, out of jealousy, she ends up praying to Enzukai who (said by The Worshipper) is like a god. She gets herself a mother but this leads her into being manipulated and in the end all the villagers die. Cihiro meaning = a thousand souls.

On the final boss part with Negusa, it's very hard to play on mobile since when you are mounted on a cannon, if you move your screen it fires a cannonball. It should only fire a cannonball If you tap the screen. I recommend adding a button for mobile players.

My theory before it releases; the girl in the purple kimono is the girl we see in the playground and as we saw in the other sneakpeek, she is standing quietly behind the other 2 people as she was jealous of them about something. In this thumbnail we can see her praying to the figure seen in one of the game thumbnail as the figure might be another form of Enzukai or Enzukai's assistant

Chihiro would spend her days imagining herself a mom who would take her to temples. One day, seeing two girls who she thought were friends or siblings playing tag, she thought it was the final straw. Chihiro meets Enzukai’s accomplice, praying to her for a companion. She was a mother figure to her, but seeing others with companions that were people, and she was with an entity of some type, she glared at the group of people, while the entity had tried to possess her.
I’m actually making a game inspired by the mimic with my friend but we are minors, we just love the mimic and it’s a way of how we got closer together and met even more friends and we honestly adore it!! Mucdich is our favorite creator always, if anyone knows any model making advice or anything we would love to have that because I mean we barely know how to make anything and we’ve been working on it since February and we ARENT even 16 yet 😭😭 haha

Chihiro (the girl in the purple kimono) was an orphan who would see people with their parents everyday. She was jealous of them because she never had any parents in her own life. Chihiro would spend her days imagining herself a mom who would take her to temples. One day, seeing two girls who she thought were friends or siblings playing tag, she thought it was the final straw. Chihiro meets Enzukai’s accomplice, praying to her for a companion. She was a mother figure to her, but seeing others with companions that were people, and she was with an entity of some type, she glared at the group of people, while the entity had tried to possess her.

I finished this chapter already but it was absolutely amazing to play.
I’m actually making a game inspired by the mimic with my friend but we are minors, we just love the mimic and it’s a way of how we got closer together and met even more friends and we honestly adore it!! Mucdich is our favorite creator always, if anyone knows any model making advice or anything we would love to have that because I mean we barely know how to make anything and we’ve been working on it since February and we ARENT even 16 yet 😭😭 haha

This whole book is literally called jealousy 🙄so all of the monsters in this book were blinded by jealousy, I guess
theory chihiro's mom liked her younger sister more and hated the older sister so chihiro got jealous of them and wanted a mother of her own a mother who would love her so she emagined and emagined until hre emagination showed up in the form of teh jealousy monster and from then on she played hide and seek with her "mom" for eternity and kept on making souls come to her "mom" as a way to repay her "mom"
i also think our "brother" got turned by jealousy into the monster we see and is also jealous of us and the monster we see at the end is jealousies true form
ima also say this is one of the most best horror games that actually just dont copy off of some random japaneese myth (ok maybe they do some times) but they have their own lore and stories and also i love how u used japaneese when the monsters talked it was a small but awesome detail!
another edit lol: i think rebirth is all of the monsters we killed control,rage,jealousy would come back in rebirth as one and try to kill us once and for all! but ofc anime main character vibe we dont die lol
