I watched this video a few times and followed step by step and installed my new Anderson Composites upper grille on my black 2017 Mustang Gt. I wished I had an angle drill for the bottom and 7mm screws in the fender but I used a ratchet. Best video ever. I got quoted six hours today, then went home and did it myself in four myself. Thanks for up loading this. Ever other video they used jack stands and took the wheels off. I liked that you just cut the wheels to the right and then left.
6 hours!!! lmao that's ridiculous. I can do the grille swap in about 30 minutes on the ground. I'm glad the video helped!

I used silicon spray and a heat gun on the oem grille tabs to help with removal.

This was very helpful. I'm not installing a new grill, but am simply replacing a headlight. Yes, you have to remove the freaking bumper to replace the headlights. Screw engineers. They suck.
Good demo, thanks! My GT grille now fitted to my EB trouble free! Only difference was that I didn't have an adaptor for my 7mm mini drive socket to connect to ratchet! (to get to the wheel arch bolts) Luckily I managed to get to it from above via engine bay using a long worm driver, which had the correct mini square drive for the socket. There's some other good demos on here and after watching them all, I could now remove the front bumper blind fold! This is where RUclips is great!

Thank you for the video, I had an RPI Designs black mesh grille for a while now and after watching your video I realized it wasn't that bad of a job to tackle by myself. I did it in the driveway today, now the grille looks killer along with the GT delete rear tail light panel.

Thanks for the detailed video. I was wondering if you could help or direct me on how to remove the passenger side bottom sill molding? My new GT 350 is mis aligned and needs to be slid towards the back by about 2 to 3 mm. Any suggestions would be great, thanks, Chris

I just received both the upper and lower RTR grill today, and unfortunately, parts of the lower grill were broken. The parts that were broken were some of the "tabs" found sticking up vertically over the "clips" at the top of the lower bumper (the ones with a hole punched in the center as seen at 8:59 in your vid). I thought that these would be important for the instal (I thought that a screw would be involved), but it seems like they are unused and aren't present on the OEM lower grill (again judging from your video, haven't checked on mine yet). So my question is: do you think these "tabs" are important? (as in should I send it back asking for a new one with the undamaged tabs) Or do you think they are useless and I can go ahead and do the instal? I really want to do the instal tmrw, but I also don't want the broken tabs to come back and bite me in the a** later on if it turns out that there were somehow important. In any case, thanks again for the great step-by-step vid. I will definitely be using it when I finally do install my grill.

Finally, a detailed video. One question though, I have a base model GT and I've seen that the process of removing the bumper is one step longer. Is this true?
+neckbonz I did removed a V-6 bumper to install another grille a few months ago and from what I can remember it was the same process. Just remember if you have to use a lot of effort to remove the bumper then make sure all screws and clips have been removed.
Ok so that made thing alot easier but I need some help figuring out what the bar is in the front an where can I find a bottom grill for a v6 3.7L an a bumber cover along with that plastis that goes inside the cover

bumper removal is the same. Once you get the bumper off the fog lights are fairly easy to change.
great vid on the locations of tabs and the screws/bolts . And double thx for including the socket sizes needed. Not to be annoying but the front "bumper" is called a fascia (since its basically the entire nose portion).

I would image so. I haven't installed the lights. just remove the bumper like you did for the grille install

yes a ratcheting wrench will work, it's just more of a pain.

Marcos Ibarra on ebay there is a dude who sells bumper covers from roush like they r stock take offs before roush puts there's on, cost me $285 shipped paint matched 100% and fitment was right on little pain in the ass switching everything over but not that bad.....I tried gluing the tabs on but after a week the bumper saged so just went the eBay route

Hi arctic knight, after removing the 7mm bolt around the wheel well, i was having a hard time trying to pop out the bumper from the side. is this normal? im scared to break my bumper. thanks!!
yes there are clips that help to hold the bumper as well.
That bolt under the wheel fender is such a stupid design, what about the people do t have those kinds of tools this guy used, i had such a freakin hard time removing it and cut up my hands all over for it

STMARYS KENNARDS headlight housing yes. Bulbs no. Changed mine to 6k then to 5k from the factory 4,300k without removing the valance.

I'm sure it could be easily fabricated to work.
I just put a tribar emblem on mine. I just took two pieces of heavy plastic and made a bracket out of them.
