For me I did not care about the mop. All the good ones seem to cram a mop in there and I just needed something for wood floors that was great on long dog hair. I tried this, the Shark 911sez model and the Eify X10. The X10 was a decent mop, the eureka and shark were better vacuum and the eureka out performed the Shark 10 times better. Way more suction and 2 side brushes and the power of the canister sold me. The shark had issues pulling out all the dog hair it sucked up. The motor in the base is very very strong. I don’t use the mop, it’s more of a wipe but I would rather mop myself. As far as an actual vacuum which is what I wanted NOT a mop the Eureka is amazing. Has yet to get stuck or lost. The mapping is really good too. Very very happy with the E20+ and definitely a winner for a VACCUUM on hard floors if dog hair is your big issue.
@@Waynerock77 very cool. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I agree the E20 plus is an impressive vacuum. I rarely use the mop feature either. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 🙂
hi good review! just a question how about pet hair? I've a small pack so i was wondering about the ability to collect shedd and tangle of the main brush
@@denisdidone9492 I have the eureka e20 plus and I have 2 German Shepherds ,a teacup chihuahua and also a cat. The only thing I’ve found that does tangle around the roller is human hair but not very much. But so far it is keeping up with my pack.
the only thing I don't like is the self empty feature. My shark empties every 30 minutes. My Eureka E20plus only empties one time after the entire job is done. However, there is a work around. I have mine set by each room and then schedule cleaning. Once you initially map the entire house, you can break it down per room. I schedule my family room and hallway at 9am and then it will come back, empty and charge. At noon, I set it for my kitchen and dining room and then it will go back and empty and charge. This way you don't have to worry about it cleaning the entire house and being full. Since my hallway and kitchen are the most used, I set it again for 7pm to clean just the hallway and kitchen at which time it will come back, empty and charge. I have 3 dogs who shed alot and I can honestly say, I never see any dog hair since I purchased this model.
Nice. I am going to nicely suggest that while you don't have to do it, that's what you have kids for. With 4 boys in the house, my parents always had a supply of helpers. I will admit though that mom didn't have us do mopping (maybe she should have, though). Alas, that price point certainly makes this a want instead of a need. And I learned that suction power is rated in Pascals. I wonder if that was one of his formulas. Something to look up.
I just got it for less than 200$ in ebay and this video is everything I needed!!!!
Thanks Jeff for saving us money. I've bought some of the tech items you've reviewed and passed on others. Keep the reviews coming

Hello Mr Jeff this looks very cool !!! Great review
I'm really impressed with the unit, and I appreciate the bagless feature. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 🙂 👍
Can you use a cleaning solution instead of water for mopping like Shark’s brand? I find it kind of hard for it to clean the floors with just water.
@@ricardogrey24 i was wondering this myself.
I've sprayed my floor prior to mopping to get a deep clean. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍
Is it safe to put cleaners in the mopping portion like Fabuloso or Pinesol? Or Bissol Pet Clean?
I've heard of people doing this and it worked. I'd recommend starting small. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍

Good video Jeff! does it self empty when the internal bin is full? or only after cleaning? (what are the options?)

Lol. I agree. Having kids help with the jobs is a win-win. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 🙂 👍
