I noticed that a normal NSX is pretty low and thus cant use the gutter technique , It would've been better if they had Senna attack from the outside and trap Bunta in an inside position where a gutter technique wouldn't help at all since there would be no room to accelerate , as far as the battle goes I'd say it went alright after all we are comparing 2 gods in the racing world. Undoubtedly the 86 at the time was much underpowered and stood no chance against the beast that was the NSX being driven by the just as beastly of a driver Aryton Senna. Though if he Bunta had a more powerful car he could've managed to atleast keep up a little longer , after all if his son Takumi can push the underpowered 86 to beat evos , who knows what Bunta could've done if he had the Impreza at the time. The match would probably have been a very close one. sidenote : why am I here debating over a fictional racing god can compete with a real life racing legend
You know, I'm guessing that this (albeit i know did not happen, i imagine) takes place when the NSX is in a developmental stage. During that stage, the car is a lot more "fragile", as Senna puts it, which i guess means that the suspension is quite loose. After hearing his feedback, they made the suspension more rigid and reduces the height of the car to ground. So if we keep that in mind, then the it's possible for the NSX to be able to use the gutter technique.
Well done! As an initial d fan, I must say the quality of your animation is superb. Kind of a blend between 2nd and 3rd stage. I really enjoyed it and hope to see more. But yes, as someone else pointed out, be careful about the engine audio you use for the ae86. A little distracting when you hear the 20valve engine and original 16valve switching places mid scene. Otherwise, this was flawless!

oh yeah the pilot of that NSX is none other than Aryton Senna himself which is another beast of a driver like Bunta look up his Monaco one hand trickery on his McLaren-Honda, he's the OG God Hand plus he's driving the NSX which is better suited for racing than the pre-Project D AE86 which has 150hp at most (at least according to Ryosuke's observation) this doesnt make Bunta look bad however considering he fought off one the world's greatest drivers while he's on the best car Honda made

There's so much wrong with the video, the 86's engine sound, the sync, some animations. But overall, it's good. If you just put a little more research and took your time, it would've been even better
