Great video -- something I have been struggling with is creating a form handler that does not contain an email. I keep getting errors saying 'email is required.' Do you know of any ways to avoid that? Thanks!
Thanks for the comment! There is no way around the required email address. Pardot requires every prospect to have an email address therefore every form submission must have one filled out too. What are you trying to track with this form handler if it's not a form submission from a person? Are you trying to use MCAE for anonymous surveys? Happy to help if I can.
Thanks for your explanation on pardot form handler, can you please help me on what are the things we require to submit external forms to pardot like if we just jave pardot form handler endpoint url, connection keys like username, pwd, is that enough ro integrate pardot in external application
Hey there. You will need to have the email address of your prospect in order to submit a form handler, but that's the only requirement. Take a look at this video on how to trigger a form handler from Zapier. You can apply this principle to other external applications. For example, someone logs into your app and then you post to the form handler to capture that login in Pardot. No need to send username or password. You'll just need that prospect's email address. ruclips.net/video/3nWn5DjkwnA/видео.html
Thankyou for your quick response, I have gone through the zapier video link which you shared and it is helpful. I just have one doubt like is it mandatory to use third party tool like zapier or some other to integrate with pardot or it's just an option
@@VMSVibes It is definitely not mandatory. You can use all sorts of tools or custom code to post data to a form handler. You can even embed it in an that fires when a page is loaded.
Why are your videos the only place I seem to find a plain English explanation of an Account Engagement feature? Thank you very much!
You're very welcome! Let us know if there's anything else you'd like us to cover
Excellent explanation. Very helpful. Thank you very much!
Glad it was helpful!

Can I create a form in Marketing Cloud and use a form handler on Pardot?
I'm not sure about this. Hopefully someone else in the community with more familiarity with MC's form functionality can help answer this one.
