I LOVE this tutorial because you're not trying to look diferent that you are, you're not promoting the white skin as the perfect skin (because all the skin colors are beautiful), inclouding that the scars and the acne are totally normal. We need more people like you with this important message: "You are beautiful in the way that you are". Congrats.

Pls I am tired of all this shit I mean fine There are brown Indians but what about Himachalis and Kashmiris. We are pale skinned. Does it mean we are not authentic Indian?

Only pale skinned indians are portrayed as "real indians" in media and movies. And you know the whole colorism BS. And please chill when someone darker than you is getting a compliment for their tone because chances are that you are treated differently beacuse of your tone in India.

@@kellykappoor8418 Because if you have lived in India as a woman you would know that every single auntie you know would make you feel inferior about you skin tone. If not skine tone it could be your weight, your nose, your lips etc.
So I am glad to see that she is confindent and proud of herself to showcase her beauty. Unlike me who is still carrying scars from all the taunting.
@@profilnamn9657 LOLL. girl, I feel you. I'm dark skinned Asian too and was shamed for it. But I think we need to be more considerate of others too. Sure, the white skinned may not be shamed but they are still probably shamed on their bodies. We don't need to put down others to make another feel better. Let's be allies, us women. And fight sexists. Using the word "authentic" can be hurtful just like the word "pure".

Love the fact that you mentioned that no matter what makeup would never look like skin. Tbh we all get so hyped up the the claims of makeup looking like skin that when I started using makeup I didn't understand why it wasn't looking like those airbrushed and filtered videos of beauty gurus. Love your realistic portrayal. ❤️

Exactly! Doesn’t matter how much I prep my skin and try to make it dewy and ‘natural’ damn it still looks like ‘make up’! Then I realised either you do make up or you don’t! Both cannot look the same! ❤️

Still it ain't impossible.... I apply very little amount of foundation (only at the place where it's need). Then I tend to apply a lil bit concealer at the required areas. Lastly I end up with compact powder and brush of the excess powder. I apply tinted lip balm(the colour of the lip balm is very similar to my lip colour). In this way my makeup looks natural and almost gets unnoticed by all the peoples . I guess you can follow this way of doing makeup?

It's normal to have acne scars, pigmentation and We have to face the reality that so called "perfect" skin only exist in filters. I have lot of acne marks. I was insecure about those. But now I think why to bother soo much! I am who I am! This scars defines me. And I love my skin the way it is!🙂

@@fabibautistasolis9268 you're not supposed to. You're supposed to pat in the serum of the sheet mask into your skin after removing the sheet, and let it dry in your face. But she used the remaining serum as a lube for shaving so understandable that she washed it off to remove the shaved hair. ^^

@@sirishasastry Thanks! I bleached it blond, then dyed it. For me, it's reasonable with very short hair, but dying and maintaining longer hair than this is a task I would NEVER undertake 😂

It'll help all the younger girls who are just starting with makeup to not hold themselves to unrealistic "skin like makeup". Because when I started wearing makeup, I learnt it through RUclips and gosh... For YEARS I always wondered why my make-up doesn't look smooth like theirs and why it looks so cakey and I woul get really sad, I thought Maybe it's because I'm using less expensive products, so I save up and invested in the 'beauty guru recommended" expensive products costing thousands for tiny bottles of makeup
All a hoax my tween and early teens self was fooled
But over the years I practiced and experimented with different techniques and products and then the recent tik toks showing texture under makeup also helped

Ok so! I was searching for this content a year ago because i wanted a natural make up tutorial for a skin that looked like my skin and a look that was truly natural but with make up because i felt like even tho i dont wear a lot of makeup for the days that i do need it, I should know how to do it. Even though this video is 2 years old, this is what I aspire to do every day! I’m a new mother and have used makeup on/off for years…As I get older, I will probably never do a full-on face of makeup again unless it’s for my children’s wedding or something equally momentous. I am also a brown-skinned woman, and it is hard to find minimal tutorials and products in my shade. You are a close match for me-thank you for this!

Truly love ur tutorial. I too have hyper pigmentation on my mouth area n for years I thought something was fundamentally wrong with me. However in recent years, I have realized that comfort comes first n that we only apply makeup to look a tad bit more refined than we usually do.
