Top Gear tested the racer and recorded acceleration of 0-3 mph in 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 8 mph. Presumably it has poor gearing, because it should cruise at 10 mph with decent gear ratios. Nurburgring's Formula 1 track is 13 miles long and would take about 1 hour and 45 minutes with strong riders.

I know a lot of folks in the HPV (human powered vehicle) world spend an incredible amount of time building custom "fairings" and enclosures for velomobiles, but this project takes that to the next level x10. Really, the effort that must've gone into building this body is pretty amazing. Maybe the creator can share some tips for building that cool bodywork? Great fun video, too!
It doesn't look bad, i bet even the police would be fooled by that one :) On the other hand, that gallardo rewing up at the end had a really addicting exhaust note and by placing the cam in the middle of the track, this echo made it even better! :)
