Right from the get-go back in 2013, you could see that ease he exudes, even as a 17-18 year old. I remember first seeing his earliest promo shots, where he also had golden blonde hair, and just yelling “What the actual fuck!?” Like, a true fashion model, born with poise and gifted with great beauty. And as I am sure others have said, he is absolutely an actor. The last piece of acting he did before enlisting is his part in the music video for Love Wins All by IU. Very intense and dramatic. Did you notice how in "Slow Dancing" he is in a lab, creating and interacting with elements of the virtual world he is creating to run away wo with BTS and ARMY? I explained it in my comments on your album reaction. All the people in the simulation are not real. Pause it when he takes the polaroid in the car. All the people in the picture are him. At various points in the MV he is doing things in the lab that affect things happening in the virtual world, like raising the sails by pulling a rope in the lab, capturing his dancing in a box he enters, etc. In the virtual world there is a lost boys/Neverland feel, with the tall ship and hidden cove, the magic lights in the sky and the glowing magic creatures like bugs and jellyfish. You also see the sparkling points of light on his face and body numerous times, which look similar to motion capture dots for filming. Each of the MVs is connected in the story. In the "Rainy Days" MV he is frustrated and lonely, distracted, working on paperwork and clay models and various plans for his virtual world. You can see things around him that relate to the lab and the virtual world we see in "Slow Dancing." he's good at acting without even speaking because he IS an ACTOR!! :) he was part of the korean drama "Hwarang". However, he hasn't acted in a proper drama again after that. But he still showcases his skills in BTS content as their mvs usually follows a cinematic universe :)) Recently though, he has participated in singer IU's music video titled "Love Wins All" as her love interest as a final gift to fans before he enlisted in the military (if you're interested!) I highly recommend watching it; amazing music from IU + V's amazing acting skills = chef's kiss!!!

Don't worry about it being boring, we (ARMY) watch reactions to relive the excitement of first hearing BTS' music/seeing their videos, even if you're not saying anything in between natural expressions in response to the videos also shows us a lot, so having cuts takes away from the experience for us. 💯 Also our boys music is too good to cut off too every time it happens on reactions videos to them I will, without fail, gasp in response to it because it's a crime x') Take as many pauses as you want for talking too, don't worry about it making anything too long (we watch long reactions) and be sure to leave in the bighit music intro before the mvs to protect your channel more okay? As for the mvs themselves, unlike Jungkooks which were very American as he was challenging himself with new things, these mvs are VERY Tae he's extremely artistic in general not just musically (which I'm sure you'll be unsurprised to find out he is also an actor) and the dog in the mvs is one they got that looked like his own dog Yeontan while abroad recording. He is also a great actor even though officially he only acted in one Kdrama so far, Hwarang Warrior Youth. 1:27 - Army will absolutely watch. I wasn't Army then, but when they were releasing Butter they had a video of butter melting over and over for over an hour and no one knew what it was but watched it anyway. We are a bit obsessive when it comes to BTS and a lot of us enjoy long-form content. Did you notice how in "Slow Dancing" he is in a lab, creating and interacting with elements of the virtual world he is creating to run away wo with BTS and ARMY? I explained it in my comments on your album reaction.
All the people in the simulation are not real. Pause it when he takes the polaroid in the car. All the people in the picture are him. At various points in the MV he is doing things in the lab that affect things happening in the virtual world, like raising the sails by pulling a rope in the lab, capturing his dancing in a box he enters, etc. In the virtual world there is a lost boys/Neverland feel, with the tall ship and hidden cove, the magic lights in the sky and the glowing magic creatures like bugs and jellyfish. You also see the sparkling points of light on his face and body numerous times, which look similar to motion capture dots for filming. Each of the MVs is connected in the story.
In the "Rainy Days" MV he is frustrated and lonely, distracted, working on paperwork and clay models and various plans for his virtual world. You can see things around him that relate to the lab and the virtual world we see in "Slow Dancing." In the cave during "Love Me Again" you see all sorts of old-style monitors, similar to the retro tech he uses in the lab in "Slow Dancing."
The dog in the MVs is also an imposter. LOL He has an identical looking dog named Yeontan whom he adores, but he filmed all the MVs in Spain and did not bring Yeontan with him. So the dog is a Spanish actor look alike. The real Yeontan's face is on his album box for Layover and some of the inside art and photos as well. He also took Yeontan to one of the live performances he did for Korean tv and he was on stage with him. Adorable.
Fun fact about his acting skill even with no words - he is a skilled actor. He was in a KDrama called Hwarang and has done plenty of music videos, shorts films and other things as part of BTS, as well as co-starring in an MV with IU, for the song "Love Wins All." Another fun fact about his effortless cool and relaxed confidence - in the military he went into one of the toughest units, a black ops counter terror unit. The president of S Korea complimented his sharp shooting when he visited his base.

he's good at acting without even speaking because he IS an ACTOR!! :) he was part of the korean drama "Hwarang". However, he hasn't acted in a proper drama again after that. But he still showcases his skills in BTS content as their mvs usually follows a cinematic universe :)) Recently though, he has participated in singer IU's music video titled "Love Wins All" as her love interest as a final gift to fans before he enlisted in the military (if you're interested!) I highly recommend watching it; amazing music from IU + V's amazing acting skills = chef's kiss!!!
About your question at the beginning, some of us like to watch people's expressions when they're listening / watching to music we love but it's new for them. If you don't feel like it of course edit it out, but a lot of us don't mind
Much better without the cuts! Don't worry about it being boring, we (ARMY) watch reactions to relive the excitement of first hearing BTS' music/seeing their videos, even if you're not saying anything in between natural expressions in response to the videos also shows us a lot, so having cuts takes away from the experience for us. 💯 Also our boys music is too good to cut off too every time it happens on reactions videos to them I will, without fail, gasp in response to it because it's a crime x')
Take as many pauses as you want for talking too, don't worry about it making anything too long (we watch long reactions) and be sure to leave in the bighit music intro before the mvs to protect your channel more okay?
As for the mvs themselves, unlike Jungkooks which were very American as he was challenging himself with new things, these mvs are VERY Tae he's extremely artistic in general not just musically (which I'm sure you'll be unsurprised to find out he is also an actor) and the dog in the mvs is one they got that looked like his own dog Yeontan while abroad recording. V is a great lover of art. He likes Van Gogh, but also Basquiat and a lot of other abstract artists. He also likes photography and he is friends with Ante Badzim and V uses the alias Vante when he posts artsy photos.
He is also a great actor even though officially he only acted in one Kdrama so far, Hwarang Warrior Youth.
You should check out his fashion spreads for Vogue Korea where he wears CELINE and Cartier whose ambassador he is. He also wore these two brands in his videos and also concept photos for LAYOVER. If you can get a copy of the autumn/winter 2023 edition of POP - he was on the cover as well as had a whole spread in it. Oh and his newest Harpers Bazaar Korea - where he is the Blue Dragon with long blue hair. He did that shoot weeks before he had to enlist in the military.
Funny you should mention the Cartier Tank watch ... Tae told us in a live last year that he was bidding on one special Tank watch but we never found out if he won the bid or not.
The dog in the videos is a lookalike to his real dog Yeontan, a black and tan Pomeranian. Unfortunately Tan is very ill so he could not take the flight to Spain where the MVs were filmed. BUT! V and Yeontan did a live in a music show in Korea.

1:27 - Army will absolutely watch. I wasn't Army then, but when they were releasing Butter they had a video of butter melting over and over for over an hour and no one knew what it was but watched it anyway. We are a bit obsessive when it comes to BTS and a lot of us enjoy long-form content. I don't always need to have the reactor be doing something, it's great just to be able to watch with someone and have them share their experience with me, even if that means not always having a big reaction.

Taehyung is an amazing actor, he has been more focused in his career as a singer, but he loves acting... he had his first real experience in a k-drama in 2016, where he plays a second role character, named "Hwarang", he won a prize as a debut actor. We can see his skills in acting in his music videos, BTS music videos and IU's "Love Wins All" where he was the protagonist.
