A true assessment by Parkinson, let's not forget where we have come from , a lot of managers in this league would love to be in our position, let's not put the lads down.
I thought the defending was abysmal for the goal.Barney & Evan’s should have done better and I think Arthur will also be thinking he could and should have done better. I’m sure they will get things back on track on Saturday. When you look at the fixtures we’ve had from the start of the season,we have done well to get 17 points.
Palmer is not up to the quality needed in this league.Massive respect to him for helping us to get here, but as we seen with Luke Young, there is no room for sentiment when you need to climb the ladder.
100% agree. Just not League 1 level. He struggles to hold the ball up and lacks pace. But to be fair we’ve got issues everywhere up top. Mullin is off the boil and getting himself frustrated, Fletcher has moments of brilliance but can’t last 90 mins, Marriott is rapid but defenders know how to play him. Palmer offers nothing. Our goals are coming from defence and midfield, which is a major concern.
@@darren2182think we will see money spent up front next season. Unfortunately unless mullin comes back on form I can’t see any other way forward. I think we have lost that threat in this league. A decent league one / championship striker with them balls coming over from Barnett we would have the ball in the net a lot more. I think next transfer windows will see us chasing championship level strikers on loan. They may even try premier league strikers on loan
Change the team phil for those who we signed in the summer who are waiting....if these are not responding to you anymore, get rid of them including mullin and Lee etc etc ..
It’s ok though according to McLean you’ll be ready when you play Birmingham at home, was he expecting Wrexham to still be in contention for the league title at that point🤣
Mo Faal is a youngster so he will be mostly played as a reserve this season, he will play in some cups and if he proves himself, could break into the league squad a bit but it's better to go with experience than potential unless the potential is showing significantly
Arthur is always to slow getting down to these low shots...oconnel or o connor should of got out to close that ball ,far to much space.. Very limitied chances... 1 shot on target in 2 full games of football.. to many long balls again.. the last 3 games have been very poor... we need to get the quick passing game back that we had first 5 games of the season... Shite questions, why’s the away performance’s so bad? We’re gunna lose games it is what it is, but why are we 2 completely different sides home and away?
@@Welshfooty1 Why a team might play differently compared to at home - hostile environment, travel fatigue, home team more inspired in front of home crowd. Not good enough, to be fair, Two shots on target in 180 mins is very very poor. Typical away performance, from parky and the players. Been the norm since parky has come through the door how we set up away hoping to nick a goal on the break and no press or attacking threat or getting on the front foot. We only wasted the last 35 minutes of the first half? I think what Parky needs to front up and say is that we also wasted all of the time since the final whistle at Orient! If we played so well in the 2nd half at Orient on Saturday then why did we need to make so many changes for a game only 3 days later?
we wasted the whole 95 mins with just one effort on target, parky talking silly there where he said basically stevenage defended for there lives, no they defended well and we were clueless in open play again on our travels.
The statistics shows that we dominated. But we should have waited them out. Take the medicine and be more of Wrexham again. Tight and more aggressive in the box. We are too nice at the moment.
Wrexham either pass it back or kick it long they cant keep the ball cant pass just play shit they look like a sunday league side no heart and out classed last 3 games hard to watch very glad i did not get a season i follow pass

Another one who thinks we're going to walk this league because of our B2B promotions. Give your head a wobble mate. We can't compete financially with Birmingham. Sense of realism needed and a season of stabilisation. We were very poor first half better 2nd. Back to winning ways on Sat 🤞

Confident that the boys will come good and be in promotion contention come the end of this season
All that quality on the pitch and yet we can't put two passes together.

Vast majority if teams perform better at home than on the road. Some venues are very difficult for visiting teams, e.g. Wrexham's own Race Course.
