Definitely like the fact you can cut enemies up in this game.
it does not make up for the clunky controlls, absolut incredible short gameplay and bad story. Nobody beats vader.

@@thomask5434 If you actually looked into stuff you'd know that Sam Witer (Starkiller) said in a interview that the beginning of Force Unleashed 3 was gonna show that Vader was just screwing with him by letting him think he had won and letting them take him to their secret hidden Rebel base that the Empire would then attack. That's why you see Boba Fett following them at the end of the game 🙄🙄🙄

Agreed. Played the first game on the wii as a young child and got the second one on ps3. Could never get past the mini boss before the arena to get to general Kota cuz I was too young to move the stick and press the button fast enough:/ came back to it today and it was amazing lol :)

It's a shame we'll never truly get to know what happens afterwards, like how Vader escapes, or what happens to Starkiller and General Kota.
They die heroically some time before Luke meets Yoda I imagine. Juno probably survives though.

Lol I know. Like in the opening scene it makes it feel like he walked down that one hallway, past all those stormtroopers, down the lift and through another hallway to stakillers cell. Like star killers killing hundreds of stormtroopers and taking like half an hour to get to vaders tie when vader is doing what exsactly. OH YEAH NOTHING.

I just watched a playthrough of Jedi: Fallen Order, and there are a lot of Stormtrooper voice lines in there taken from this game.

@@CIOptimusPrime yeah apparently to save dismemberment for "key points in the story" even though multiple times during the game lightsabers are used to cut through 3ft thick metal plate doors and walls, and droids. Classic Disney, staring common sense in the face and laughing
And this is the last Star wars game where limbs could be cut off... :( Thus I never really enjoyed any new SW games again....

Just rumours at this stage but apparently a 3rd game is in early stages of development so there might be a bit of hope.

Though I'm surprised there's... like... just 3 levels in the game, overpacked with waves of enemies (and an endless grinding boss) to make them feel longer : Malastare (Gorog boss), Nebulon (Terror Walker boss) and Kamino (Vader boss)
This is more like an expansion than a full game. (though ultra polished, I must admit)
Yeah I remember thinking this game was insane as a kid playing on the 360, of course now I see it’s flaws but it’s still a very good game!
Yes, i am surprised that this game is only 3 hours, i thought was at least 6 when i'm played.

This game was so awesome. I’m not a Star Wars fan, but this is one of my all time favorites.

Yes I'm replying to a old comment but don't get into the star wars fandom, it's a toxic cesspool full of neckbeards who will literally attack anyone not sharing their exact same opinion on anythingstar wars, plus sometimes they harass people off of social media
I feel like this was one of the few games that actually started to touch on just how powerful jedi and sith can be. The movies are great and all but even with today's CGI and everything they never truly show just how powerful some of them are. How much they could do just with the force alone. No need to always pull out a lightsaber.
This game just shat on continuity and made its main character ridiculously OP. The movies established Sidious, Vader, Luke and Yoda as amongst the most powerful Sith and Jedi in galactic history, but along comes this game and has someone pull Star Destroyers from the sky or tear a dozen TIEs to shreds in mid-air. It's just cheap nonsense - developers being egoistical and trying to sell their shit by making their main character the strongest ever, completely ignoring everything others have established before them.
@@AGH331 the developers did the right thing by making that choice. No one wants to play a game where you can just gently shove people to the side. I feel like the movies just made the Jedi feel kind of boring after a while.

I remember when I used to play this game I lifted them up in the air (force) then kept throwing my lightsabers into them, over and over again. On the same person. I was pretty sadistic back then ig.

anyone else feel like the Wii version told the better story? i know it's the same thing, but how events play out make more sense.
like in the beginning, after the tutorial: we all see what he does in this version, but on the Wii, Vader brings out Juno-Proxy last after he took out all the "rebels" as his final test. when he refuses and Vader "kills" Juno-Proxy, Starkiller then goes into a rage and breaks out. that makes far more sense then a random flashback, right?
on top of that, Kamino and Cato Nemoidia look like real places people would actually be able to live instead of being a platform challenge.
then on Dagobah, you actually get the play in the Dark Side Cave.
that whole existential crisis bit before the final boss is gone entirely (i personally hated that part and i think they moved it to the Dagobah cave)
And to top it off, the boss fights with the Gorog, the Terror Droid, and Vader are so much easier and better because their healthbars don't take a hour and a half to deplete, and they don't do padding shit, like Vader jumping from platform to platform every 2 hits. it's straight to the battle in the rain on the Wii version. granted, that has a stupid gimick that is the only thing to hurt him, but i'd take that over him jumping away and saber clashing ever 4 seconds
I agree with everything here except for the breakout. In the Wii version he sees Vader kill a robo sim of Junk and then he freaks out. I don't know maybe I'm wrong it just felt a little off. But in the ps3 version that wasn't a random scene that was the first time Vader ever betrayed Starkiller. Here he breaks out cause he knows he's failed Vader and then gets a flashback to what Vader did to the original Starkiller. Both games have their pros and cons so you know maybe I'm wrong.

Nah. In the Wii version, Vader foolishly just kills Juno when Starkiller says "Just let her go." And Wii version managed to make Juno an even more useless character.(At least in this version, she tries to stab Vader with a lightsaber which the Wii version completely removed that.)
Wii version also completely removed the whole "Dark Apprentice" cutscenes from the game.

I love this game. Played the first one on PlayStation now. Now on the 2nd one and it’s so much fun on ps5. Graphics are really good.

It's bad compared to the first one, but I acknowledge that it's purely because A) they switched development teams halfway through, and B) it had to be brought out less than a year from conception. Put those together and of course it's pretty bad.
The boss battles were tedious and stretched on way to long

I actually have a massive reason to believe he isn’t a clone…. The dark apprentice was canon (until the Disney merger)…. We all know if you choose the dark ending that the dark apprentice kills star killer (which was dumb but whatever) and it’s revealed in some novelization that he was watching the fight between Vader and star killer….so if Vader had a perfect apprentice already why would he bother with our character….why would Vader bother trying (and risking ) making another Galen marek when everything he was looking for in an apprentice was found in the “evil” you…. Cause it was probably the real one and not a simple clone, Vader and the emperor probably wanted to keep star killer and the evil clone as back ups for eachother…. If the evil clone betrayed them, use star killer to deal with him, and vice versa (we see vice versa in the dark ending) so frankly there is a case to be made that star killer is real
Also kota has force sight… it’s been established that clones are different “looking” when you use force sight on them…. Implying they are different individuals, yet Kota immediately recognized starkiller so really it actually makes to say they are the same person as from the first game.

FU2 was severely rushed. The way they portray Starkiller is an immature & selfish imbecile. I believe the first game took like 4 years to make, which is probably why alot of ppl love it! They actually made a great character & then rushed to capitalize on the games popularity instead of making a genuine sequel. I still play both games tho lol every once in awhile

I'm more hyped than ever now that Obi-Wan is airing and Jedi Fallen Order 2 was confirmed, so I decided to revisit my other two favorite Star Wars games: both of the Force Unleashed games. I love the first one to death, but the second one, even though it still looks amazing to this day, 12 years later, has always been a disappointment for me. The gameplay is amazing, don't get me wrong, but the fact that this game is SO SHORT never sat well with me. When I started playing it, I was expecting a "full adventure" like the first one was, revisiting old levels and all that, but when I thought I had reached the midway point of the game, waiting for a huge plotwist to kick us into the 2nd half of the story it just... Ended. Right then and there. I was so sad with it at the time. It still doesn't feel right to me, it feels like there's so much cut content from it. The game is definitely amazing, but the fact that it ends so soon, especially when compared to the first one or compared to Fallen Order, makes this game feel more like an animated miniseries to me than an actual videogame, sadly.

Star Wars: The Glitches Unleashed. That's part of the fun, I guess. What engine was this, anyway? It has some of the most entertaining wonky physics I've seen in a game.

More location variety, the only place besides Kamino and the Salvation you go to is Cato Neimodia. The first game had way more than that

@@fullsendit I could resolve it, if you are still interested. You have to restart the level and get to that area without dying, it is a hard task, so I put the easy difficulty. When you get to that area, you’ll have to ignore the enemies and the canyon that is destroyed by the spaceship and go direct to the canyon with the fuse, it will let you take it.
