beautiful departure and sound out of IAH! I think the scenery over there is underrated because of all the trees, it looks good in its own way. Great video!
Yup! In this case the takeoff thrust was lower than the climb thrust. United 777-300ER’s are fun because it seems like they only have one climb thrust setting, no derated climb thrust settings like CLB-1/2, so you always get a good sound out of it no matter how light or heavy you are.
Imagine being new to flying, or just normal none aviation nerd passengers. Hearing the engines going up and down. They probably might think there's something wrong with the engine haha. I think they were holding an altitude for a little bit there, that's why the thrust reduced and stay calm for a bit. The angle of attack looks flat and altitude barely increase. Maybe a restriction or ATC asked them to. Then when engine goes up again, the angle of attack change and start climbing again later.
PMDG this is the GE90 sound !
Nice thrust climb and reduction sounds by that sweet ge90
The climb thrust sounded great!
Amazing video! Nothing beat the GE90 startup sound!
Damn that startup sound
It’s one of the best sounds in all of aviation
@@NDSAviation1I’ve heard this sound like a few times in person ever since I flew Eva and Korean air 777s it sounded dope
GE90 engine start up sounds = ASMR
Can you please restate that in English?
What delightful humming!

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video! Btw at 4:06 it’s an acceleration to full power, they didn’t use full power for takeoff because the aircraft wasn’t very heavy.

Living near IAH, I love it when the eva 777 comes in!

Power back for noise abatement procedures
thrust reduction part is always my fav whether in mfs2020( fenix a320) or an actual takeoff video.
In this case, I find it even better when the climb thrust is higher than the takeoff thrust - the GE90 sound really comes out
Average ge90 115b enjoyer
