Wow, those are perfectly formed crazy little cells! I love them. Also that thicket green is so pretty with such a depth about it. I thought it very interesting how you pointed out that this lacing happened and formed more at the bottom of the swipe. Enjoyed this video.
Amazing! What a great experiment! This definitely is more appealing (pun intended) than w-d40! I love the smell of citrus! In fact, I consume at least one lemon a day. My husband says I like a little tea with my lemonade ☺️. I'm so glad you shared this experiment! Thanks Cathleen! 😊🍋🍋🍊🍋🍋
That is amazing. Can’t believe that the Citrasolv has tripled in price in just 4 months. It’s now $34.32 on Amazon for 32oz and $18.89 for 16oz in the US. 😮
@cheryltyler9412 , that's all relative; I mainly use it for the aroma. Not enough to make much of a difference in the paints. You'll just have to experiment. God Bless.
Beautiful cells!! I love your colours too. You also added a satin enamel correct? That will also give you some cells. I really do wish Deco Art made their colours in bigger bottles. They do have some nice colours.❤
Being an organic oil, (IE not mineral) I think you'll find it may break down over time. Fingers crossed it doesn't! I love the idea of an orange scented painting! ❤
Interesting swipe experiment and thanks for sharing your experiences Cathleen 👍🏻⭐️🙂 Actually I‘m testing an alternative Australian Floetrol CA which has been introduced by Owatrol here in Europe. Going to share my results within the next days.
Wow, great results! Why not give dimethicone a try? It is skin grade silicone, used in skin care and makes small cells I have found. Much easier to use since safe! You knew me as pondside gardens previously....
@@COZCreationsArt Ok good. I wanted to let you know that Crafts Direct has the Deco Art Thicket. Probably selling off the rest of their inventory. I’ve never ordered from them before it just showed up when I googled the name of the paint. $1.99 a bottle.
Pamela I don’t do much with resin. I am not a shinny girl. It dried perfect. I have wiped it several times with baby wipes. Yes isolation coat and then varnish.
Yes. It came out beautifully. Honestly, I don't know if I could stand that smell either. Nice work!
Thank you!
Great work
Thank you Gigi

Wow thats crazy do walmart
Very cool idea turned out beautifully 😍 hope you take this and do some mix media art on it
Yes, it does, I've used essential oils in my acrylics for years.
How much EO’s do you use?
@cheryltyler9412 , that's all relative; I mainly use it for the aroma. Not enough to make much of a difference in the paints. You'll just have to experiment. God Bless.
Wow loving those cells 😊. To buy citrasolv in the uk is mega expensive but I am going to look for something similar 😀 thank you so much Cathleen ❤
Beautiful cells!! I love your colours too. You also added a satin enamel correct? That will also give you some cells. I really do wish Deco Art made their colours in bigger bottles. They do have some nice colours.❤
Hello Joey. No the Satin Enamel is not necessary
Oh cool, that's good to know!!! @@COZCreationsArt
Cathleen, these colors are absolutely perfectly yummy. And I love, how much making your swipes. Enjoy your life. Any new Lido?😊🐾🥰
New Lido? The little man is happy and well. He is such a good boy Josie
❤❤❤❤❤
🥰
Cathleen since it was mostly celled up in the white maybe it's the metallic pearl that caused the cells ..?? Good job..
Paulette is did it with a different base of Paynes Gray. Same effect.
Being an organic oil, (IE not mineral) I think you'll find it may break down over time. Fingers crossed it doesn't!
I love the idea of an orange scented painting! ❤
Thank you so far so good. Not doubt a few coats of varnish will help. We will see.
Interesting swipe experiment and thanks for sharing your experiences Cathleen 👍🏻⭐️🙂

Oh I have heard about this Karl. Excited to see

Hello water borne. I have also tried the dimethicone. This was a bit more explosive. If your into that kinda thing 🤪
Love this experiment! Have you tried this without the satin enamel?
Yes and same results Diamond
The cells are amazing! Do you need to clean your painting before varnishing or resining?
Yes you do Debbie. I just used a few baby wipes.
@@COZCreationsArt thank you.
Will you have to scrub it when it dries?
I just used a few baby wipes to clean it.
What is the oil you refer to please. Xx
I do not use any oil in my paintings 😊
Did the Citrasolv leave an oily residue like silicone does?
A small amount Kathy. But wiped away easy with some baby wipes.
@@COZCreationsArt Ok good. I wanted to let you know that Crafts Direct has the Deco Art Thicket. Probably selling off the rest of their inventory. I’ve never ordered from them before it just showed up when I googled the name of the paint. $1.99 a bottle.
It’s $42.92 for 16 Oz through Amazon in Canada. Gulp. I wonder if a tiny bit of essential oils would work as well.
Give it a try
Wondering how this dried... ie.. still have pits/needs lots of cleaning off like silicone? Thanks so much for sharing!
Nancy dried perfect. I just wiped it with a few baby wipes. Haven’t varnished it yet.
@COZCreationsArt Thanks for letting me know! Order is in my Amazon cart...lol! 😁😁😁
Maybe you've come up with another new thing - scratch and sniff fluid art? Just maybe....
That’s a great idea
Oh yeah! That could definitely be a real thing in liquid form!
The citra solv link isn’t working
You can get it on Amazon Mike
Wow that’s neat! I would think you would have to do an isolation coat if you want to resin it. Is that correct?
Pamela I don’t do much with resin. I am not a shinny girl. It dried perfect. I have wiped it several times with baby wipes. Yes isolation coat and then varnish.
Great experiment!
Thank you!
