Great camera work! In some gt divisions the got it backwards ;) Commentary imo is the best in business! On point knowledgeable collected! Racing as always. Maybe to much yellow time. In GT500 they're doing outstanding job to keep the green alive. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

My heart goes out to Cirone after that incident. They were SO CLOSE to missing the leading pack in what looked like a catastrophic brake failure. Cook, obviously, a blameless victim, but that was a shocker of an incident, thank goodness for these Porsche's being built with these kinds of .1% chance occurrences in mind.

I feel like turn 1 needs to be slightly reconfigured, to maybe a larger radius? Yes I acknowledge that's not always an easy thing to do, however, sending 30+ cars grouped up close together full-speed towards a 90deg turn, ya gotta admit is kind of a recipe for disaster. I mean, what do you expect from 30+ speed-maniacs 😂 When you only have a 40 minute race and nearly half of it is under caution, that doesn't always look good.
Now granted, I'm a fan of IMSA, I'm ALWAYS going to tune in and watch a race, I love road racing and I love the Porsche Cup. I'm just saying, maybe something like this need to be taken into consideration, let's not set the drivers up for failure at the start of the race.
Yes, I understand it's racing, you're always going to have a possibility for an incident, nobody is perfect. I just think the PROBABILITY of an incident sky-rockets especially when the start of the race is towards a 90deg turn. When half the race is under caution it's hard to get new fans and new people to want to tune in and invest their time.
Admittedly, I don't know the best solution. Maybe it's a conversation with the drivers, maybe it's a slightly different turn configuration, maybe a little column A a little column B. Not really sure, something to think about.

Indy native, newcomer to racing, love IMSA. I agree, the first corner of the road course is WAY too tight. I understand that gives a track a level of challenge, something to watch for if you don't know the track, etc. It does make for great viewing for the fans infield.
