- People have dumped so much trash in the parking lot of the Family Dollar on McCart Avenue that a city code enforcement officer has launched an investigation.
People are PIGS, can't imagine throwing trash into a business' dumpster, such a shame!!!!!!!!!!
That's exactly why I don't like people. If I could live in a world without people, that would be like hitting the lottery for me.
They obviously missed the dumpster and threw it on the ground, even worse yet. If they ever get caught they should be forced to keep the whole area cleaned up thru community service every weekend for a year.
Hope Family Dollar put some cameras up ..they should if they're having this much trash dumped illegally

I know this area. This is awesome that y’all are doing this. But Family dollar has PLENTY enough money to pay a cleaning crew!! It’s their responsibility to maintain their property. This isn’t a public area, it’s private. Thank you all for volunteering!
A lot of people don’t know that there is a free dumb near 35 and Alta mesa. But some items can’t be dumped there and people have to pay to dump certain things at a special dump site.
I wonder did Family Dollar at least offer them a cold drink???
Sad I grew up on this side of ft worth I've moved away from DFW been gone for about 6 years now .... not to make it a race thing but I remember when it wasn't very many Hispanic or blacks I was one of the few black kids families that grew up in that neighborhood the few black families that lived there appreciated what we had not just blacks the whole community kept the grass cut neighborhood watch etc. when I tell u the southwest side was like a dream come true it was a beautiful place to live sad to say hope I don't offend anyone not all...but minorities have ruined it
You’re the only one that can say it without being vilified for it. Heaven forbid if a white person can see what the cause is and speaks up.

I disagree with it being minorities primarily. I see white, Hispanic, Asian, and Indians. There’s an entire em Indian family that camps out at the Walmart on McCart and the one on Hulen with her children panhandling. My husband grew up on this side of town and we’ve lived in this side of town. It began to falter when Katrina happened. They built apartment complexes to accommodate some of the Louisiana natives. Also, the city shut down butler projects and gave all the residents vouchers to move into homes in the southwest area.
So if you take people who are away from home, low income, and lack of drive, then you’ll get what southwest Fort Worth is today. It’s not a minority thing, it’s a community thing.
I'm black and I agree. It was when they got rid of the projects in Oak Cliff. What they did was allow the apartment complex in SW Fort Worth to accept Government handouts. So a lot of these residents don't even pay more than 20% of the rent and the Government will cover the rest. So you have a bunch of ghetto people of all colors and types moving in to decent areas and destroying them.

You are right, FD needs cameras. How about the city provide them, then when the guilty parties are caught they have to reimburse the city.

Why forced? This is not the community problem more so the us government problem. Why are they force to clean up the mess when the government should create a law that prohibits civilians to through trash in the city dumpster?
There is a law genius. Nobody enforces it due to Fort Worth Cops being spread thin. Crime has sky rocketed in the SW districts.

Why not hide the dumpsters a bit? They are out in the middle of the parking lot basically asking people to put trash in them
It doesn’t make any difference, even if you build a corral around the bin with gates for when the truck comes, they just dump in front of that! People just have no respect for anyone else’s property!
Remember what happens to snitches so don't become one or bad things could happen to you
