Just for some of my opinions though (disclaimer: I used to work in this industry): There *is* a new space race among commercial companies, but Virgin Galactic and Blue Origin are not really in it unfortunately, as they can't even reach orbit (as the video pointed out). They are essentially in the kid's table. On the other hand, SpaceX actually has been servicing NASA for a decade and is the current market leader in sending anything to space. Meanwhile, the actual up-and-coming competitors to SpaceX are smaller lesser-known startups like Rocket Lab, which actually does have an orbital rocket and is probably what I consider to be much more interesting than Blue Origin or Virgin Galactic. The public does like to talk about billionaires though so we frequently see the media portraying the 3 of them in a competition. Also, I know this is just an intro video, so I think it's worth talking about some of the more nuanced aspect of it next time!
I think yes, because only by exploring space or other planets, we might be able to explore some unknown/new elements which might able to have a breakthrough or a huge leap in improving our current science or technology. please continue such topics! stay safe :)
