- Florida's Super Retro Con 2022 was an excellent convention jam-packed with vintage toys, games, and other collectibles! This event happens only once a year so be sure to check it out for 2023!

Retro con!!!!!!!!! That was super fun and now again retro to relive. I really enjoyed your experience and take on the somewhat same things and the other stuff I totally missed like the Return of the Jedi cups and the Itchy and Scratchy figures!!!! All of the Jar Jars and the Jar Jar references were my fave! Aliens we’re a big craze in the mid 90s! I almost forgot about that!

Omg I love everything about this! I want that Staypuft so bad 😱!! Glad you decided to give the little Max Rebo guy a good home. Also I have that stuffed Gremlin but I won him from a claw game in Rehoboth Beach using probably like $7 in quarters. Wasn’t stopping til I got him. He hangs out on my bed now and was totally worth it!!

I saw Adam's and Jay's video 📹 of this earlier. I like the guys 👦 but, it's good to get a women's perspective of this as well. The convention looked like a lot of fun and, you did a great job documenting it.

And here’s another convention I need to add to the bucket list 🤪 I love that you’re a Jar Jar fan! He gets wayyy too much hate but I’ve always found him hilarious! As a 90s kid, I did in fact have a Furby lol. I was also a big PC Gamer! I loved playing “tycoon” games like Roller Coaster Tycoon, Zoo Tycoon, Mall Tycoon, and SimCity. I still am a huge fan of the genre! The Wii was also my jam. My fave game had to be Blue World, where you got to go scuba diving and learn about different kinds of fish. It’s so crazy how you and Jay crossed paths before really knowing each other. It’s a small world after all 👀

Yes! Had a gray and while furby! As it got older it started speaking in a creepy language...got rid of it. NO WAY!!! both my sister and I had blue game boy pockets, My nephew now plays with mine.

The only Barbie I regret not getting is "The Birds," Barbie and now she's like over $150 instead of her original price at Walmart 🤦🏻♀️ I have a few Alf Puppets! Awesome score with the Max Rebo plush! I miss my single studded bracelet that I owned growing up, I have one now but it's too bulky for me. Just like me man, if I start feeling too overwhelmed I escape from indoors to get some fresh air. Fun Ven fact: Teddy Rupskin creeped me out growing up whenever it would start to run out of batteries. 😂💀👀 This looks like a fun con!

That et costume in one of my old childhood photo as a baby there is a kid in the photo with me and others in Halloween costume in one is wearing that et Halloween costume. Crazy lol.
I would be looking at dolls. I loved dolls and especially black dolls. I am major tiana fan I have a few black dolls. Those cups and glasses are kool. You must really loved radio shake to buy a that sign for 300 hundreds that crazy. I have not seen woo in yrs I like his shirt too.

First...a big THANK YOU for showing the upcoming cons! I would love to be able to get to that Star Wars one in Orlando at the end of the month! Sadly, won't happen, but stlll...to be able to kind of plan some of these things out!
Engage nerd knowledge: The Boba Fett and Stormtrooper statues at the beginning are from Don Post. They're worth about $18,000 a piece if in great shape. They are, however, very inaccurate to the actual characters. The Podracer Anakin was a JC Penney promo from back in 1999 and could be had for about $500...it's worth a few grand, but can be found for about $800. But, the one I will brag about, I bought my future ex-wife while from FAO Schwartz back in 2000 was a 4 ½' Jar Jar...she loved the character! THAT was fun trying to get back to Wisconsin from NYC! And yes, she got custody of Jar Jar...I wasn't going to even try!

Oh hey Cris that stuffed clown doll you found was a doll of Homie The Clown from the 1990's comedy series In Living Color starring Keenen Ivory Wayans,Damon Wayans,Shawn Wayans,& Marlon Wayans i actually had one when i was 10 or 11 i can't remember exactly how old i was when my dad got it at a yardsale & brought it back to me i don't have it anymore though if i remember correctly it either got given away or it eventually got to old & tore up

being a vendor at conventions is an interesting business model. need to prefigure how much in sales r needed to cover the cost of the day's operations and travel costs. // not all vendors price their wares so they walk away with profits.
