Though LaToya is mistaken, misguided or misinformed about certain things, she is absolutely telling the truth as she saw and understood it then. All she wanted was to heal the abuse in her family, coming from an abusive family myself I can relate. People need to have compassion for the surviving Jacksons. They have survived a ton of abuse not just within the family, but from the world as well. I feel Michael spent time with children because he felt SAFE with them. They were his safe place. LaToya may be mistaken about there being sexual abuse because none of the accusers stories about the abuse itself add up so he may or may not have been a P*do. But I feel like creating a fantasy childhood was like creating a safe space for himself which he could share with other safe people like children and animals.
Just because he collaborated with Priscilla Presley about "love at first sight," who was around eight the first time they met...I do think from all I know and from my personal experience as a child victim (not related to MJ), that may be at different times due to his background and due to exposure to the industry and his early exposure to seedy sexuality during the initial performing....that at some point in Michaels life maybe not at the later ends...he did have sexual impropriety with people who it would have been entirely inappropriate to have any sexuality with and I think at some point he realized that and it hurt him very badly to know what that time in his life had meant because he did not mean to hurt anyone. Still, I believe the truth of Michael and these allegations are somewhere in the middle of the slander and rumors and what I am expressing that many others, including his very own sister, said.

First: Bravo La Toya! I am a huge Michael Jackson fan. He was my salvation during my youth when I experienced severe bullying. Thanks to his music, I was able to escape into a world that saved me. That's why I always defended him. I believe many people feel the same way, as they had also a deep emotional connection with MJ. But now I see everything differently. I believe La Toya told the full truth. Too many signs and details point to it. It's so painful to see how insensitive the audience and the host were. Now, after more than 30 years, I see LaToya as the "healthy" one in this dysfunctional family. I think she reached a point where she realized that it would be better for the Jackson family and her own peace if she showed loyalty and honored Michael's impressive legacy. It's a complex issue. So many unhealthy dynamics are at play here.

You are perpetuating a narrative that silences victims. It is no secret the Jackson patriarch treated his children badly, so I don't think sexual abuse was out of the realm of possibility. No one is in the position to discount Latoya's narrative they were not there, not to mention the fact sexual abuse is one of the hardest things to prove in court. I think it's important to listen to Latoya's story even if she revoked it later. To say the least, there are many dynamics at play when you are abused by a family member.

There is very little I can do, that is up to the court if the victim decides to pursue that route, but there is value in simply showing support if anyone does come out with abuse allegations. Many times, initial disclosure reactions of sexual abuse allegations is the deciding factor for PTSD development after trauma, so I simply wish to avoid this PTSD development by supporting anyone who tells me they have been abused. It does not even matter if I believe what she said. But if there is a chance she was sexually abused, then I'm glad my reaction may have helped her and avoided the very hellish world people with PTSD experience. As outsiders looking in, there is very little both of us know the truth about. I'm not here to argue with you over what happened. She named many names, and ALL the people she named said she was lying. There was also evidence that she was being abused by her husband, yet she denied it, and again, the people who knew her spoke on it. Every situation is unique and there are many factors involved in this one. I was not there, you were not there, but everyone she mentioned was there and said she was lying. I didn't fall for it, and turns out I was right, as the truth eventually came out and she admitted to lying. Additionally, she did many interviews and her stories were inconsistent, contained provable lies like her placing Michael with children he hadn't even met yet, and her stories changing from her basically saying actually nothing when really pressed, to them growing to her basically having 1at hand knowledge and seeing everything. With each interview the stories grew bigger. And one interviewer caught her husband feeding lines to her in an earpiece and busted her and she ran off set. After witnessing all of those things, I didn't even need everyone else to tell me she was lying, I could see it with my own eyes and common sense.

People defending him just conveniently forget the large amount of p0rn and nude child photos found in the room those kids were staying in, all over the room and in the bathroom. There was a polaroid photo of Jonathan Spence (the boy MJ spent time with while at Hayvenhurst and while filming Captain EO), completely nude, found in his possession. It is an evidence item, along with the explicit materials. They're all listed in the case files. This photo was not presented for the trial because Jonathan was not a witness in the trial, and was not seeking charges against Michael. It was considered not relevant to his case, but it still existed and Santa Barbara police were in possession of it. MJ was never proven 'innocent'. He settled by paying the victim a very large sum in the first case, never disclosed to the public but described as a large sum, and he was acquitted in the second case. Not innocent, but acquitted. Because the necessary witnesses that would provide testimony to convict him did not appear. He had an insane amount of money and paid people off. Wealthy people tend to get away with their crimes because they have money, power, and influence. It's not difficult to see that he could make things 'go away' if they threatened his image and ultimately his wealth.
For those of you who don’t know, years later Latoya denounced all of the allegations she made against her parents and Michael and admitted that she was forced to lie by her husband. He had beaten her constantly, forcing her to do things like pose for playboy. The second playboy shoot she did she had to wait for her wounds to heal. Her husband threatened to kill Michael and Janet if she didn’t lie convincingly. Eventually, she got her brother Randy to rescue her and they welcomed her back into the family. All of this information I’m saying came from interviews she did that you can find on RUclips. Unfortunately, the damage has been done with videos like this existing , especially because in between her lies are half truths taken out of context. Once again, she renounces all of these previous allegations.

It's also possible that later in life she decided it was easier if she denounced what she said about her family as lies, and to pin it all on her abusive husband. Feelings about abuse-victim relationships in families are often very conflicting, especially if the abuser is close, like a parent. The Jacksons seem to be a very insular family and I imagine its hard to escape with all that fame. So maybe she has had to make peace with what's happened and, given how Michael was spiraling out, was doing damage control to take the stress off him. Probably other reasons too. Let's not forget that Joe Jackson was highly abusive, and many have admitted it, not just La Toya.

I hate to admit but I’ve always believed La Toya Jackson. Michael Jackson and his siblings were clearly victims of child abuse. They were told to act like the perfect black family on camera, but as they all got older they could no longer maintain that facade. Their demons were catching up to them and it wasn’t getting better as MJ was the biggest star in the world and was constantly targeted by the media. Basically it was just an entirely toxic situation. The family couldn’t trust each other because of their traumatic past, they couldn’t trust regular people because they were so famous, and they couldn’t trust the media because they would use them for money in whatever way.. No wonder they all grew up mentally fucked. MJ abusing kids is hard to come to terms with but the abused usually become the abusers.

I believe her when she says she never saw anything inappropriate but I think she seemed to speculate and assume the worst case scenario when Michael wanted to spend time with younger boys. He didn't use bleaching creams. He was prescribed Benoquin which is a depigmentation cream specifically and only prescribed to treat vitiligo. It is meant to blend the blotches. Not the same as bleaching... still having this discussion in 2021

Just because he collaborated with Priscilla Presley about "love at first sight," who was around eight the first time they met...I do think from all I know and from my personal experience as a child victim (not related to MJ), that may be at different times due to his background and due to exposure to the industry and his early exposure to seedy sexuality during the initial performing....that at some point in Michaels life maybe not at the later ends...he did have sexual impropriety with people who it would have been entirely inappropriate to have any sexuality with and I think at some point he realized that and it hurt him very badly to know what that time in his life had meant because he did not mean to hurt anyone. I am a huge Michael Jackson fan. He was my salvation during my youth when I experienced severe bullying. Thanks to his music, I was able to escape into a world that saved me. That's why I always defended him. I believe many people feel the same way, as they had also a deep emotional connection with MJ.
But now I see everything differently. I believe La Toya told the full truth. Too many signs and details point to it. It's so painful to see how insensitive the audience and the host were. Now, after more than 30 years, I see LaToya as the "healthy" one in this dysfunctional family. I think she reached a point where she realized that it would be better for the Jackson family and her own peace if she showed loyalty and honored Michael's impressive legacy. It's a complex issue. So many unhealthy dynamics are at play here.

No one is in the position to discount Latoya's narrative they were not there, not to mention the fact sexual abuse is one of the hardest things to prove in court. There is very little I can do, that is up to the court if the victim decides to pursue that route, but there is value in simply showing support if anyone does come out with abuse allegations. Many times, initial disclosure reactions of sexual abuse allegations is the deciding factor for PTSD development after trauma, so I simply wish to avoid this PTSD development by supporting anyone who tells me they have been abused. She named many names, and ALL the people she named said she was lying. There was also evidence that she was being abused by her husband, yet she denied it, and again, the people who knew her spoke on it. Every situation is unique and there are many factors involved in this one. I was not there, you were not there, but everyone she mentioned was there and said she was lying. I didn't fall for it, and turns out I was right, as the truth eventually came out and she admitted to lying. Additionally, she did many interviews and her stories were inconsistent, contained provable lies like her placing Michael with children he hadn't even met yet, and her stories changing from her basically saying actually nothing when really pressed, to them growing to her basically having 1at hand knowledge and seeing everything. With each interview the stories grew bigger. And one interviewer caught her husband feeding lines to her in an earpiece and busted her and she ran off set. After witnessing all of those things, I didn't even need everyone else to tell me she was lying, I could see it with my own eyes and common sense.

People defending him just conveniently forget the large amount of p0rn and nude child photos found in the room those kids were staying in, all over the room and in the bathroom. Fingerprints of one of the victims and Michael found on at least one p0rn magazine. Nude photography books of children that have been identified as NAMBLA material, and are only very barely skirting the legal line because they are not explicit in nature. But they are full frontal nude boys. Why are these materials being forgotten when defending him? There shouldn't have been anything like that near children, yet it was. There was a polaroid photo of Jonathan Spence (the boy MJ spent time with while at Hayvenhurst and while filming Captain EO), completely nude, found in his possession. It is an evidence item, along with the explicit materials. They're all listed in the case files. This photo was not presented for the trial because Jonathan was not a witness in the trial, and was not seeking charges against Michael. It was considered not relevant to his case, but it still existed and Santa Barbara police were in possession of it. MJ was never proven 'innocent'. He settled by paying the victim a very large sum in the first case, never disclosed to the public but described as a large sum, and he was acquitted in the second case. Not innocent, but acquitted. Because the necessary witnesses that would provide testimony to convict him did not appear. He had an insane amount of money and paid people off. Wealthy people tend to get away with their crimes because they have money, power, and influence. It's not difficult to see that he could make things 'go away' if they threatened his image and ultimately his wealth.

For those of you who don’t know, years later Latoya denounced all of the allegations she made against her parents and Michael and admitted that she was forced to lie by her husband. He had beaten her constantly, forcing her to do things like pose for playboy. The second playboy shoot she did she had to wait for her wounds to heal. Her husband threatened to kill Michael and Janet if she didn’t lie convincingly. Eventually, she got her brother Randy to rescue her and they welcomed her back into the family. All of this information I’m saying came from interviews she did that you can find on RUclips. Unfortunately, the damage has been done with videos like this existing , especially because in between her lies are half truths taken out of context. Once again, she renounces all of these previous allegations.

Also, look up her show “Life with Latoya” where she and Joseph have many heartfelt moments together. She even defended him when she was interviewed by Wendy Williams, who had made fun of him. It's also possible that later in life she decided it was easier if she denounced what she said about her family as lies, and to pin it all on her abusive husband. Feelings about abuse-victim relationships in families are often very conflicting, especially if the abuser is close, like a parent. The Jacksons seem to be a very insular family and I imagine its hard to escape with all that fame. So maybe she has had to make peace with what's happened and, given how Michael was spiraling out, was doing damage control to take the stress off him. Probably other reasons too. I hate to admit but I’ve always believed La Toya Jackson. Michael Jackson and his siblings were clearly victims of child abuse. They were told to act like the perfect black family on camera, but as they all got older they could no longer maintain that facade. Their demons were catching up to them and it wasn’t getting better as MJ was the biggest star in the world and was constantly targeted by the media. Basically it was just an entirely toxic situation. The family couldn’t trust each other because of their traumatic past, they couldn’t trust regular people because they were so famous, and they couldn’t trust the media because they would use them for money in whatever way.. No wonder they all grew up mentally fucked. MJ abusing kids is hard to come to terms with but the abused usually become the abusers.

He didn't use bleaching creams. He was prescribed Benoquin which is a depigmentation cream specifically and only prescribed to treat vitiligo. It is meant to blend the blotches. Not the same as bleaching... still having this discussion in 2021
