My husband's (he was singer, drummer) band all lived together in a Pennsylvania farmhouse, I had a horse and I did the cooking (vegetarian style...it was the 70s, and did some clothing designing). They played the Pennsylvania New York New Jersey nightclubs. I loved it! (lol..groupies and all, some became good friends). Even on that small scale there is an exhilarating feeling just to enter a venue with the band, watch them step on stage and everyone there who came to see/listen to them so excited, dancing and having a great time.
