To get Lycoplasma you will need the engineers suit and a grabber. Then go to the lava crack. You can get a couple of pieces from safes but you need the Smugglers eye. Which is somewhere near the starting base

You need to build a transport module, then build the transport platform in the floor of that. Then you can craft the vehicles from the transport platform.
Z go slower through the compartments- floor and read that is how to make the car, and the lycoplasma you need a engineering suit cuase you need to goto the red hot place with the grabber to get

Each components are only allow to be built in appropriate module, e.g. research table can only be built in service module. It is a poor design choice imo.
