Wall ride🤣. As an aside - I was up The Nevis Range on Friday, opening day. They've made massive changes to the top of Blue Doon, presumably in response to feedback from last year. Worth another trip for another review. And, you can now cross from Blue Moon at post 16, and access the World Champs XC!
Dude, fantastic video, days like that reaffirm why mountain biking is such a fab sport. Gang of great people, awesome trails, a few scary moments, a little bit of sun and a lot of banter. 🤙
Cheers David! Yeah, towards the end I was definitely a but past the comfort zones. I've never seen a wheel taco like that. I was pleased Andrew was OK!
Ha ha. Yeah, some place for sure. I'm not going there in the wet 🤣 Andrew is deffo all good mate. In much better condition than that poor wheel 🙈 Hope you are all good buddy 👍
Awesome stuff man. I pretty got that same feeling as you did being on your limit when I did Nae Speens at the Golfie the other day ! Thornielee looks proper crazy in anything less than perfect conditions. That was pretty unlucky for Andrew as well. Make more videos like this bud. 👍👍
Great vlog Jamie. Weather looked great and the trails were challenging. I hope Andrew is ok, it just goes to show that anyone can be caught out. I wonder if he's going to auction off the wheel? Cheers bud! 👍
Cheers man. I went for food with him after and he was good. He's a tough lad. But yeah, shows you how challenging and dangerous MTB can be at times. Those trails are very tricky 🙈 Cheers bud 👍
What?? An ACTUAL wall ride? 😲😆 amazing... would've loved to see someone ride it though! Great video, looks amazing over there 🤩 Btw are you sure you're recording your videos in Scotland, what with the sunny weather all the time... 🤔😄
Roslyn's wall ride was brilliant 😂and Andy's wheel - jeez!! Fairly did a number on that. Glad he's ok! Thornie is intense eh!
It scares me so much 🤣 And how anyone dies that 'wall ride' 🤷♂️ Mind blown 🤯
My favourite quote has to be ‘I need to compose myself - I’m bricking it’ 😂
Great effort, nonetheless!
🤣 Bricking it levels were 100%

Ah, that's great buddy. Thanks for the info. I'll try and get there one Friday I think.
What do you make of the changes to Blue Doon?
Great vid Jamie. Now I know where I want to go riding next time I’m up your way 😀
You should! It's unreal. It should definitely be on your list for new places to explore 🤙
Great video Jamie, the trails are looking good. 👌
Thanks mate. They were running pretty well although a wee bit damp. A great day buddy 👍
There not many places that give the golfie a run for its money but thornielee does. Great video dude 🫡
Thanks buddy. Thornielee is excellent isn't it! This comment has reminded me that I need to get back there!

Yup. You've summed that up perfectly mate. Thanks buddy 👍
Great stuff. A gang of mates out enjoying the trails!
You said it bud 👍👌
What a lovely day that was. More of these please! Great vlog and editing Jamie 🤙🏻
Thanks so much TK. Lovely to see you after too long! Nailing riding as always 🤙
Probably best episode to date.
Ah brilliant. Thanks man 👍
My word, that wheel was well taco'd. Some ballsy riding there, a smidge above my comfort zone, but you have to try it to find that limit!
Cheers David! Yeah, towards the end I was definitely a but past the comfort zones. I've never seen a wheel taco like that. I was pleased Andrew was OK!
@@streetpigeonmtb I've done that to a wheel after piling into a tree, the tree won 😄
Trees are bad like that... They always seem to win! 🤣
Cracking footage once again 👍
Thank you. Loving making vids in 2023 👌
On my limit just watching 😁 hope Andrew is ok.
Ha ha. Yeah, some place for sure. I'm not going there in the wet 🤣
Andrew is deffo all good mate. In much better condition than that poor wheel 🙈
Hope you are all good buddy 👍
Solid riding on Helter Skelter! Looked bloody steep
Cheers. It was very steep. I was just pleased to get down it 🤣

Yup. Was so good to catch up with Andrew. Not seen him in ages. Glad he walked away from a big crash!
@@streetpigeonmtb defo bro. Glad he's OK
To quote the Levellers "what a beautiful day". Best ride I've had in a while.
It was cracking wasn't it! I loved how the group got on so well. I don't always enjoy big group rides but that was a load of fun. Good to see you pal!
@@streetpigeonmtb well having another doctoral scientist there always helps
🤣
Great vlog Jamie.
Weather looked great and the trails were challenging.
I hope Andrew is ok, it just goes to show that anyone can be caught out.
I wonder if he's going to auction off the wheel?
Cheers bud!

They are great, aren't they? Thanks for taking time to comment 🤙

Ha ha. I know! The truth is out. Scotland has (occasional) good weather! That 'wall ride' is bonkers. Thanks buddy!
Great vid. Thornielee and Yair are 2 great locations at the southern end of the Tweed Valley?
The further you descend the steeper it gets!
Indeed. At least you have time to get warmed up before it gets crazy!
This is just what rhe doctor ordered 🚲😎🚲
That's awesome. Cheers bud 👍
Amazing content as always 👏 how is the climb here?
The climb is very straightforward aside from the last 200m or so. You can cycle but pushing the bike is easier 👍Cheers mate 😁
Bar turns on Turbo Ferret wild
🤣 The limit of my retro and shaky skills right there 🤣
"it's NOT London!" :)))
🤣👍
Well, I suppose if your going to come off, like Andrew did. You may as well do it properly 🙈😂
Indeed! He did a proper job for sure 🤙
