  • In this video I go over how to replace the thrust strut also called a thrust arm on a BMW 3 Series E90. This would apply for many other vehicles in general and BMW models.
    When this issue is happening the vehicle front end will dive down when braking or the wheel may hop. This failure may also cause a brake vibration in certain circumstances.

    You mentioned a little oil showing does not indicate a problem How can you tell if replacement is needed by looking at it?

      @johnkimdalessandro1498 Per the BMW guidelines even if they are leaking the rubber is robust enough to support the bushing. However if they are cracking or cause diving if the front end when braking it should be replaced.

    Hello I’m changing my timing chain belt on my 328i 2013 but I doesn’t fit the special tool what can I do please if you can help me

      Hello, I am not quite sure what you are referring to as the special tool for this procedure.
