Just got back from a concert (20th april, 2024), Cosmo told us all the core sound in this song is that when he was traveling with a Mytcologist (mushroom expert) she discovered a Rare New Mushroom, and when she plucked it from the ground to collect it for the species, he jammed a recording device in the hole to capture the sound of where the mushroom was. Amazing concert, and he's a pretty good story-teller too!

He was friendly with the audience, and he told stories of his music and how the songs he creates get going as ideas. I'm glad to hear his podcast is doing the same, yelling those stories ☺️
I have to say that I find it totally consistent with the plot that Cosmo makes an ft. with Earth Present when his music has always been full of nature.

I've long had a deep seated fear of my own dying, but a deep connection to nature and its wonder, and something about this just takes some of that existential fear away from me, the thought of just being utterly consumed back into a natural cycle. I have a tendency towards anxiety based around my health/mortality, and this has me looking ways to get involved with campaigns for allowing natural reclamation burials in my location, as a means of processing my own mortality. thank you for helping me find a way to heal myself
