I'd actually have to disagree. Different studies say that the beat of a song is the first that most people get hooked on or listen to. Then the melody. So I would say most people realize how important drums are. At least most people I talk with after shows etc.
Agreed. I realized this at a broadway show I went to and couldn't stop watching the drummer slay down in the orchestra pit. It was one of my favorites parts of the show.
I watch Mulan at least 5 times a day, thanks to my daughter. As a drummer, I always imagined the this song would have been fun to play. Now I "see" I was right.... fantastic job!!!! Compliments on "transcribing" the song perfectly...well done!!!
