They wanted the names, my user name and password for all my banks with the information from every single box on those 1099 forms. When you file on paper, they just want the amounts and don't ask which bank, how many years you were getting the money, is it this or is it that. Am tempted to write to congress about how they are collecting and saving our most personal data. Once I got to the end of the income section, I had had it and stopped using it, then I immediately changed all the passwords to my accounts. How easy would it be for someone to get ahold of all that information and clean you right out?

IRS took 2mths to process my taxes first supposedly due to computer glitch my taxes were lost. Then when processed my 2020 tax return which was only the 2nd stimulus payment was changed to 0!!!
My 3rd stimulus payment was also listed under IRS as 0!!!
    I'm listed as getting nothing
I check status daily & call IRS endlessly for months. I get absolutely no where with no answers. When I finally can get through to their phone service, I'm given every excuse for delay but no help or resolutions. No one can say why I'm listed as not being qualified for stimulus payments or haven't received it either. My only option is to just keep waiting & maybe someday someone will get around to fixing the error.
I'm being told I might have to wait to claim both 2nd & 3rd stimulus payments on my 2021 taxes! Is the IRS serious?! It's been a complete nightmare.

Because a *certain idiot in charge of the government* did *NOT* think IRS workers were essential. I tried submitting online but there was a problem with identity validation and had to submit via paper. It took a total of *6 months* and got it resolved with the Tax Payer Advocate service.

Makes no sense they did that to me and sent the stimulus money to my account kinda defeats the whole validation notion they sent 2000 dollars but to a account they want to prove is me but not my tax money 🤔

I did file electronically and it’s been 3 months and no refund yet
3 weeks later and still no refund. I did get a letter saying they corrected a mistake and now I get $1200 less. Something about my dependents. I don’t have any dependents. The letter also said it would be 4-6 more weeks before I would get my money. I have it going onto my debit card so I don’t understand the wait. Also I filed electronically using TaxAct
