I don't know about you but I'm impressed. I'm familiar with those kinds of weeds and they're tough. That trimmer went through them like a hot knife through butter. Definitely a good investment.
i bought one of these a few years ago and it has NEVER given me a problem. It is a good little workhouse and will go throw tall weeds and grass like butter.
I have the DR mower and have often thought that you would be better suited with some of your monster cuts with just such a mower. I have often walked thru 5 to 6 feet tall grasses and weeds and brush without a worry. 34" cut and 22 hp. and I run the fence line of our pasture lots, and I've clipped a rock or two but with no damage to my mower. Were I can't go with the 8 ft rotary mower I go with the DR mower. I'm glad you found the benefits of the DR. Good for you. I have run over a 6ft tall autumn olive bush, and mower being self-propelled just kept on buzzing right thru it. I've done our road sides, and the only trouble was when I hit a hidden beer bottle, glass went everywhere, but not on me. One tuff machine. I'm happy for you Fill.
I own a Swisher walk behind string trimmer. It works great on the big weeds. It has no electric start, but the pull start works on the first pull every time. There is no choke so it’s pretty simple to use. Those plastic wheels will never break.
It did the edge next to the house really well! Didn't look as if you'd need to go back over it with the other string trimmer! Saves you a step there. And it chopped up that tansy like it was nothing. Really good!
Thanks for the video review Fill. I have ordered this exact unit, supposed to be here in 4 days and I can't wait to use it. I have 13+ acres and this will be very useful on the fence lines and the front ditch areas. My tractor and brush hog handles the rest of the property.
It also doesn’t leave the large stragglers by just laying over the tall grass. Seems like I might use this first, on very tall grass, then hit it with the mower. What do you think?
Looks like a great machine except if there is a self propelled version I would probably get that one. You had to use your back alot to push through those weeds. But all in all it looks like it works good.
Hi Fill, I was waiting for a new video 😊 Could you replace the wheels with wheels off a bicycle? Just a thought. Thanks again for the entertaining video. Take care.
I did not see any real reason for that machine, but if it can keep a mower from getting damaged badly or even lightly, it's kind of like a way to do a walk-through to make it safe for a mower. Now I see a really big reason for that machine. 👍
I thank you for this recent video on the dr trimmer. I have been contemplating getting one for a 3.5 acres cemetery I am cleaning up. I can't use a zero turn because of the headstones and other obstacles and I can't use a regular push mower because of how high the grass and weeds are. I'm going to go ahead and order one. That thing went through those weed and didn't slow down one bit.
I have one of these. It works great. You would think that the blue line would work better than the green line because the blue line has that aggressive look to but it doesn’t.the green line is much more efficient
Mine goes through cord like you wouldn't believe. I only use it on tall grass. No matter how I store cord. I've tried four different sorts all recommended by the dealer and they just break after a couple of minutes. My machine is almost unusable because of this issue.
Anyone else anxiously waiting for new videos from Fill 😂?!?!

Great machine for tall thick weeds. Also, like you said, on rough terrain. Nice addition to your fleet of equipment Fill.💯👍🏾😀💜✝️🙏🏾💜
These wheeled trimmers are worth their weight in gold. I have 2 of them and they are game and back savers…. Nice video Fill 👍👍👍

We use to have one. But my youngest son not cutting grass anymore so we gave it our oldest son. But I loved it
I have had a DR string trimmer for years and it is a beast. It does anything I want it to do.
Major improvements - on older models you basically had to take the head apart to install the trimmer line and no electric start!
Love this channel. Sure learn a lot. You’re very good behind the camera 🇺🇸

I used to live rural. I sure could of used this.
Nice trimmer! Did a great job.

Thanks for the Video Fill and Tutorial 🎉🎉
I'm glad you explained whet it would be best used, because I was a bit confused as to the advantage over the blades.
I didn't hear you mention if the base of the trimmer head(that contacts the ground) was metal or plastic.
You explain it verry well.😊 nice machientje.
WHOW.. a nice smal mower.. cuts rally well.. good job.😅
I just picked one up this morning. Drove an hour and a half to a shop that had them in stock.
That is a cool tool!

Great evening Fills it was nice video and God Bless
Dude you have awesome toys, I love it. Nice 👍🏾
Great addition to your impressive arsenal.
I’ve used one of these and prefer it over a push mower any day. It makes jobs like this a piece of cake. ❤
Amazing tool - goes right to the fence!

That’s amazing! Thanks Fill!💚
Wow! Give me one of those. I don't even have a yard but I'd still like one of those. It's cool. You can knock out a whole yard in nothing flat.
Thanks for the video! Perfect for Johnson Grass in all the ditches in Texas!
Kool! Show us when you change the strings. I'm giving this machine consideration. Anyone have experience with the self-propelled model?
I wanna buy one of these and use the motor on my toro recycler lol.
Excellent review!
Seems to make it a bit easier. I had one similar a few years ago. 😊👍
I enjoyed this video. Great equipment for sure.
Excellent piece of equipment! Looking forward to seeing you put to the test!!!👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Wow that's awesome. I believe it will make your jobs easier. Thanks for sharing
Very quick and effective😊
great machine .I was amazed at it power to cut down all that.
I would say it works "smashingly" well!
Powerful little machine
❤Love your new machine. You'll be finding fields of tall grass and weeds to conquer ❤
The mower was hungry
Great video. Not a fan of the repetitive music in the background. Much better with the sound off.
MAN 👀 I like That 🎉 it’s AWESOME
What’s the Cost?
I need that DR. For around my pond
Thanks ❤

Can it be done around the fence
Good honest review, thanks
Great tool!
I hope you have tried it
Fill do edge videos
Thumbs up 👍
That machine is awesome!! 😀
Impressive!
That thing is a little beast, wow!
They are great machines. But will give you a work out on a hill . The DR field and brush mower will pull itself and will cut bigger things also.
Looks .i,e you were have a blast with that new play thing. Enjoyed the video ❤️❤️
I have one of these.
It works great.

The best that machine
Keep it Level on the ground.
I watch you use that. Idk but I think you need more power in that trimmer. You gas weed trimmer you always use is better imo.
How much oil did it take ?
go DR

Where the heck is the battery on it?
Considering your profession, shouldn't the title of this video be: "DR Pro XL Trimmer, Where Have You Been All My Life!!!"
Where is your mask???
1st Dammit
It isn’t made to be a Lawn MOWER. It’s narrrow and a more convenient weed whacker. Is this your infomercial channel?
Dr power trimmer company is the worst company I have ever had to deal with. I'm almost 70. Great product bad company.
