Kenny can a brother get a magic video talking about how this team is missing 5 of their 6 best scorers and still coming back down 20+ against multiple teams. This team has heart
@ u literally dont gotta be old enough 😂😂😂 wat u talkin ab basketball is basketball people in they 20s still like old school basketball better then new gen
I don't think the Cavs 'need' a traditional small forward. They have several elite shooting defensive wings, and it hasn't mattered that they are a few inches shorter than ideal.
The best part about the Cavs is they can start whoever they want at Sf depending on matchups. Levert vs Celtics, Okoro vs Warriors, Wade vs big teams like the Nuggets and I would consider him to be a traditional forward he’s like 6’8-9.
@@NatureNedthat’s when the bench shows up with shooting. Merril and Niang can change up the pace with catch and shoot 3’s, Levert and Jerome are the ball handlers/shot creators when Dg or Mitchell are resting. The only thing I’m worried about is if one of their bigs gets injured and they don’t have a solid backup to fill in that role yet. So far Dean Wade has been that small ball Center/pf that’s been holding up that role when one of they get hurt/ into foul trouble early.
For the Spurs as a Spurs fan, I would say not addressing the backup center position. Right now our backup is Zach Collins who has played in like 1 of the past 10 games. Our third backup is Charles Bassey who has no offensive game and gets into foul trouble. The past few games Jeremy Sochan has been playing center when Wemby comes off and it’s not great I would love Clint or Val at the trade deadline for a second round pick because we have a trillion of them
Honestly, Zach can go, I don’t mind Bassey because he’s a decent rim protector, but that’s it. But Val would elevate us soooo high, even Clint would help
@@ITalk_Basketball yea I don’t mind Bassey. I just wish he gave a little more offensive production other than being a mediocre lob threat. Val would be amazing coming off the bench 😮💨
I don’t think the Wolves made a bad trade at the time and I stick to that idea. Does that mean that the Wolves have not fucked up before? No, but the KAT-Randle trade was not a bad trade. The output between Randle this season and KAT last season is not that different, sure KAT shoots the ball better, but Randle is a better facilitator and he is a natural PF. People forget that in the playoffs KAT was getting criticised for shooting too many 3s. So player for player Randle and KAT where not that different in terms of output, and on top of that you also get a 6th man of the year candidate in DiVincenzo (that was supposed to make up for the lost shooting) and a first round pick? That trade was a no brainer. So why is the Wolves worse this year than last year? A lot of it is just chemistry- and they are starting to get better now. But I also mentioned the previous bad decisions they made. They have overpaid for McDaniels and have Rudy in the team who is also overpaid. Conley does not provide enough output to be starting. And finally the most important thing- Anthony Edwards has not taken the step to superstardom- and he might have actually slightly regressed. We look at Ant’s new found 3 point shooting which is lovely, but earlier in the year Gilbert Arenas mentioned that he is actually settling for these 3s instead of driving in. And some of that could be due to Randle not being able to space the floor for Ant as well as KAT did, but we can’t blame that entirely on Randle. Randle attempts 0.5 less 3s than KAT did last year, and that does not explain Ant’s regression in PPG. He really should be averaging 30 like Shai did for a couple of years (without being able to shoot 3s) which made the Thunder contenders. The team built around Ant is not the best- but he also has to improve for them to contend. That team with KAT was not going to win it all and as soon as the Wolves management realised that they decided to sell high on KAT before he became an untradable asset due to his contract. Now, it looks bad on the Wolves because KAT is playing well for the Knicks while the Wolves are struggling. But KAT is playing a different position and if he stayed he couldn’t have played there because of Rudy. I think the Wolves are better than what they are showing, and some of it comes down to them adjusting to new teammates. The Mavs made the conference finals with Brunson, lost him in free agency, didn’t make the playoffs the following year, and then made the finals the year after- and during all of this they had MVP contender Luka. Ant has to improve to a top 5 player in the league, DiVincenzo needs to get better in his role, McDaniels needs to improve from 3, Randle needs to get back to his All Star level. They also need to develop Dillingham or find a replacement for Conley. Wolves just need time and patience at the moment, they have a good team with players like Naz Reid and Alexander-Walker coming off the bench and they just need to keep improving.
For once I'm totally cool with the Cavs not getting much of the conversation. Kenny you light up when you talk about our Cleveland cavaliers. Might be worth it to feature them again ✌️ HNY

As a C's fan my biggest regret is that I didn't try to win some money with how dominant the C's were. But the teams biggest regret would be probably finding better bench pieces or drafting players that can help right now and replace our old guys( I love Walsh and JD, but we still need a young C)

For the Spurs, the only regret I could conceivably see is not drafting or trading for a shooter. However, I don't think that is a particularly big regret because the lack of consistent shooters outside of Barnes and Champagnie has forced Wemby to improve his own three-point shooting capabilities. Now, odds are that the Spurs were going to have Wemby lean into the three regardless, but if they had more shooters, Wemby would probably be getting a non-insignificant number of fewer touches. Ultimately, the Spurs have seen a massive improvement compared to last season. I feel like, for any other team, most people would be ecstatic going from 22 wins to, hopefully, 40+ wins. Playing like a .500 team where you don't know if they could win or lose any given game on any given night can be a bit frustrating, but I don't see how any moves could have had this team performing significantly better. Maybe they could have won one or two more games if they had drafted or traded for more shooting, but, then again, maybe not. Personally, I'd rather the current team stay together for, at least, the rest of the season. Maybe even the next two seasons. I think they have the capability to start competing for real playoff spots without needing to shake up the roster outside of the marginal players like Malaki Branham. Team chemistry is a very important aspect of basketball and even last season, the vibes on this team were great. That's continued this season, and I think breaking that up could have adverse effects on the team's ability to win games. Mind you, I'm not opposed to making trades, but I don't think the Spurs need to rush into a trade just because some fans want to compete for a title in year 3. Maybe Tim Duncan could do that, but Tim Duncan had David Robinson and a serious playoffs-worthy team backing him up.
as a player fan , wish PG would've went somewhere where the other stars aren't always at high risk of getting injured , first w Kawhi , now Joel,. would've been better seeing him w the Hawks , or GS, maybe could've been a good vet for the Hornets or Rockets ..
As a Pels fan and New Orleans native, the Pelicans as a franchise doesn’t develop players well. Also, Dyson was drafted to be the lead point guard so he would’ve never panned out if this is what franchise expected him to evolve to, but him and Herb on the wings with their defense was something special to watch.

I mean you guys are currently the third worst record in the nba WITH them, so, I wouldn't see how that would be a regret, they'd be in the hunt for a top pick in this stacked class regardless, except you have two starting caliber players at the very worst instead of not having them.
@ yea that’s definitely fair you’re not wrong in that aspect. I’m just more so speaking from the perspective of the fan of the team that watched them try and fail against LeBron for 3-4 years, win a chip and yea what happened with Kawhi happened we sold the pieces we had way too late and we’ve always been building in our way rather than the nba norm/meta which I can acknowledge has cost and helped us at various times. Again maybe overthinking things but this year I have the feeling that we’re more talented than what our record says so I wouldn’t be surprised if just happened to move up in the standings the year the draft is looking promising and we’re actually supposed to be rebuilding. But again maybe you’re right and I’m either overthinking things or just haven’t been paying enough attention to certain things.
KCP was never an offensive threat. He hit a three if needed. But he was vital on the defensive end. His All NBA defense made up for Joker's middle of the road defense. Nuggets are fine offensively. They will be for as long as Joker is a player. They are falling behind defensively, and losing KCP was a huge part of that regression. And yeah KCP didn't do amazing at first on the Magic, but he has become the defensive player he is paid to be.
He is also the perimeter shoot every is saying we need. Right now he is not shooting the best but he is a catch and shoot guy so with our best drive and kick players out he’s taking off the dribble shot which isn’t his game.
@@-ac-8296 KCP is the highest rated defender on the magic(17th), who are third in defensive rating. The magic are free to dump him, but it'll turn out just like it did for the nuggets.

The only thing I regret as a wolves fan is that we didn’t try to get extra role players from the New York Knicks instead of Julius Randle or we could’ve find a different team to trade KAT too
Definitely agree with the Portland one. I think other ones for contender are not firing Chauncey and also not trading away Anfernee, Ayton, and Matisse. But yes Blazers definitely overvalued Grant and he’s been awful this season.
I would say while Westbrook doesn't play defense or shoot as consistently accurately as kcp, he adds a dynamic that kcp wasn't capable of in denver and Braun is a tenacious defender and is coming along as a shooter
As a Clipper fan I have zero regret on just letting Paul George go for nothing. It felt like we went in an actual clear direction with the pieces we added. Of course Kawhi not playing is a problem but I do enjoy seeing Harden take this team of role players in this direction. He’s proven he can do that many times before
As a Pistons fan that is a stupid ass take. It's actually a great thing that we're not in the Cooper Flagg sweepstakes, I think after an historically bad season like last year, pursuing tanking would already be giving up on Cade's era. You don't build a winning culture when the cornerstone guy reaches 26-27 it's a long process that you need to start young. Look at all the best teams in the league lately, Denver, Dallas, Boston, OKC. All of them started building their winning culture as soon as they identified who their cornerstone guy and it allowed them to slowly and methodically build that contender with chemistry and solid long term pieces. On the other hand look at a team like the Suns. They stayed in the tanking zone too long and only tried hard to build that only when Booker was reaching an age where he could leave easily. So they had to make big moves after big moves to quickly go from the bottom to the top. Their most success was in the first year of doing that because that's when their assets were the most valuable and after that they basically didn't have what it takes to keep up with a constantly evolving league. Now they're back to not being a serious contender while their cornerstone is on his best years. That Tobias Harris move is so great actually, not only do we get a vet that helps us too build something better rn. But the big short term contract gives us so much flexibility, if luck goes our way and some team wants to blow it up his expiring contract could be an important piece in matching a big salary for a trade while proposing picks and young guys for the actual value of the trade. And if that doesn't happen he's off the book when we really need to make moves in free agency. This take was just pure Tobias Harris hate for literally no reason.
Ight i have three One regret was having to watch the city i live in beat my favorite team in the finals last year. The Mavs losing Porzingis considering what happened in that finals The league letting Jrue Holiday go to the Celtics
For okc and the spurs i dont know who the article wanted them to get. Their cores are still young and developing. Why blow their capital early before knowing what they really need. Plus is bridges, kat etc the player they are missing? I dont think so. Waiiting seems like best option to me
Yeah plus teams need time to adjust to players even wemby struggled to adjust at the beginning of the season with cp3 and Harrison Barnes, Keldon and Vassell are in the midst of their worst years rn cus of having to adjust to playing more off ball with Sochan developing and Castle (who can't shoot to save his life) taking a bunch of possessions and paint shots
as a knicks fan, I regret Robinson fouling Maxey in game 5, that series was over in 5 and would've given us extra rest and he would've been healthy against the Pacers in that series
Pacer’s biggest regret is not having that 5th center or 4th wing defender. Goga and Queen would have been a godsend this year. But revisionist history doesn’t help anything.
Happened late last year but in 2024 it became clear that the Bucks regret trading away Jrue to pursuit Damian Lillard. The experiment failed badly. Giannis’ load has never been heavier and the team is not better for it.
I think this is 100% recency bias, ur forgetting that in the most important moments ,game 7 of the playoffs, Jrue Holiday was so bad on offense that Jevon Carter coming off the bench looked noticeably better and was getting cooked on d. 17 ppg on 35% shooting overall was vital to the team? Ur also forgetting that they have doc rivers as a HC who has been living off of 08 for far too long and the game has clearly passed him by schematically
I think the reason letting George walk is the regret for the clippers has a lot to do with what they gave up to get him. Sga, 7 1st rd picks, one has turned into jalen Williams. Meanwhile the clippers couldn't get out of the first round of the playoffs
You sound dumb af tf u mean couldn't get out of the first round they been passed the first round several times. Clippers made it to the wcf meanwhile okc never made it to one if not barely made 1. If it weren't for injuries, the Clippers would've won at least 1
Now that u mentioned it, i feel bad for zach. They were so good before lonzo and caruso went down with injuries. And now zo and zach are the only players left from that amazing bulls team made up of zo, caruso, zach, demar, vuc.
Yeah I don't think the 76ers are even thinking of Buddy Hield lol. He's on the brink of being unplayable, currently for the warriors. He's missing wide open layups and wide open 3s, he's a liability on defense, and he's hard to watch when he's handling the ball, because you know it's only a matter of time before he makes a weak pass into a turnover to get the opposing team going 😂 And if Buddy doesn't fit for a system meant for a movement shooter, then idk that another team would grab him.

But again maybe you’re right and I’m either overthinking things or just haven’t been paying enough attention to certain things.
To be fair, Orlando did try to add one perimeter scorer to the starting lineup and he just hasn’t been what we thought he’d be.
Right now he is not shooting the best but he is a catch and shoot guy so with our best drive and kick players out he’s taking off the dribble shot which isn’t his game.
kcp is washed
@@-ac-8296 KCP is the highest rated defender on the magic(17th), who are third in defensive rating. The magic are free to dump him, but it'll turn out just like it did for the nuggets.
@@noconsent why do you lie?? he literally is 7th in defensive rating on Magic. The one thing you rate him for he is literally middle of the pack on. Just stop clowning
@@-ac-8296 ???? What seven magic players have a lower DRTG than 108?
As a suns fan it’s probably the most frustrating team to watch in the nba
Hey Kenny tell DoorDash to lower their prices
I would change biggest regret for Mavs not resigning djj
DoorDash sponsor Kenny stay stacking bread
Code doesn’t even work. At least in canada
@@mattcollett9370yeah it didn’t work for me either fam and I’m in the US
The only thing I regret as a wolves fan is that we didn’t try to get extra role players from the New York Knicks instead of Julius Randle or we could’ve find a different team to trade KAT too
Definitely agree with the Portland one.
He’s proven he can do that many times before
The minute I saw the topic I thought the Monte Willams signing would be it for Detroit but, then again, it’s 2024 not 2023.
I would say we regret somehow not keeping Lauri for the cavs Lauri with THIS cavs team? Most dangerous young team in all of basketball
Yeah but fit would be kinda different because Okoro plays so much better defense than Lauri
@ true true
dang man didnt even cover the blazers
My biggest regret of 2024 is being a Wizards fan.
it seems kenny has left "whats the word y'all" in 2024 :o
As an okc fan I love the topic pick he was projected top 3-5 before his injury. Sam presti master class
Their argument also makes no sense. Ajay Mitchell has been great off the bench for us. Clearly whoever wrote this doesn’t watch okc play.
@ agreed he’s been great for us especially for being a 2nd rounder
Clippers is the Terance Mann extension by far
Ight i have three
One regret was having to watch the city i live in beat my favorite team in the finals last year.
The Mavs losing Porzingis considering what happened in that finals
The league letting Jrue Holiday go to the Celtics
The celtics biggest regret was not making sure the other teams were healthy, as this is where most of the criticism towards the 2024 celtics is aimed.
Doesn't the Magic have KCP?
Spurs biggest regret is extending Zach Collins imo. Wemby has been getting excellent help
The Nuggets biggest regret is 100% the Zeke Nnaji contract, they do not miss KCP in any way at all
plz make a vid about the mike brown firing 😭😭
Twolves absolutely blew it
Hawks regret should be not getting a reliable backup PG. B/R’s assessment of not identifying a direction is wrong entirely
Man these reactions to articles are always feeling very rushed at the end
Alcohol DoorDash? Now I got a habit
Kenny the sound on your latest videos has been very low.
@Sqeaky6969 very true
Happy new year to everybody,Jesus loves y'all 💗
Id say losing DJJ was our biggest lost of 2024 vs Mavs
Does anybody else miss ‘what’s the word yall’
16:02 suns problem is nurkic
I thought Miles Bridges was doing ok. He’s averaging 17 and his rebounding and assist numbers are up
Hornets my second team behind the Lakers and I still remember when I thought Devontae Graham was our future
*Every NBA Team's Biggest Regret of 2024
The thumbnail says it all 😂
G.G. Antman 😅😂😅
as a knicks fan, I regret Robinson fouling Maxey in game 5, that series was over in 5 and would've given us extra rest and he would've been healthy against the Pacers in that series
im glad to be a hawks fan because i always decide if i wanna watch the video based on what he says about the hawks cause atlanta is always first
It is never a regret drafting Johnny Furphy
Pacer’s biggest regret is not having that 5th center or 4th wing defender. Goga and Queen would have been a godsend this year. But revisionist history doesn’t help anything.
My biggest regret is thinking Chris Finch was a top 3 coach
Rockets fan, and no big regrets for them. They are doing way better than I expected.
kenny biggest regret gonna be saying shoutout miles bridges
Make a clippers vid please
miles bridges just keeps taking way too many 3’s, in no world should he shoot 13 in a game
GIVE JAMES HARDEN HIS FLOWERS KENNY
Bro is not watching EuroLeague if he doesn't identify not keeping Lonnie as a regret.
Great video though as always, keep up the good work Kenny
Kyle Kuzma is a G for that 😂
Bridges was hurt this season
He's missing wide open layups and wide open 3s, he's a liability on defense, and he's hard to watch when he's handling the ball, because you know it's only a matter of time before he makes a weak pass into a turnover to get the opposing team going 😂
And if Buddy doesn't fit for a system meant for a movement shooter, then idk that another team would grab him.
