Being a marginally educated person . . . i look at life the way Norm Crosby talks in his act. It's a conglomeration of disjointed concepts with an occasional sprinkle of good sense.
I just got around to reading his obit, as I've been avoiding media lately, but he always made me laff hideously. the look in his eyes that made him appear so clueless was the whole bit, plus good timing. imagine your whole act based on one strategy (misusing English). that said, I'd like to quote Peter O'Toole, who was quoting someone else, "dying is easy, comedy is hard" REST EASY, Norm.
Still makes me laugh...you had to be raised on his comedy to "get" him, and Mike is just part of the schtick here--he's setting Norm up. And OMG Howie in his early days! Brings back a lot of memories...
