Very cool. Earlier I saw a Tomb Lamb video of beet harvesting and he mentioned loading over the hedge into transport as his next step. Looks like your just a step ahead of him, but timelines and weather obviously differ. Thanks afor making and sharing.
Farmer Stephen can we have an interview with your farm manager the hedge cutter guy ? Is he any good with a pair of shears as my garden hedge needs a trim ?
Yeah. It does a good job. When it first started raining it was terrible. My boots got so heavy. Then it rained more and the soil seemed to fall of my boots.
@cheechU38K only way to do it without it moving would be to tip it direct with the trailer onto the feeder at the front. Then the problem would be the soil would build up underneath and bung the machine up.
The sugar beet looks beautiful,to bad it's so wet.Praying for a better weather.
Yes the sugar beet were a good crop.
Bet your pleased the beet are all finished and in the factory, I can't remember a wet time like we have had this Autumn and Winter.
Yes I’m well pleased.

Will speak to him and see what he says.
Bit of sticky beet but I love seeing the Maus at work 👍🏻

@@farmerstephen muddy boots 👢 yeah deep ruts, could do with some hard standing for Maus 🤔 maybe some heavy matting
Yeah but the Maus actually digs into the top couple of inches of soil to pick up the beet, so has to be on the soil.
@@farmerstephen Shame 😳 I’d guess if the Maus was stationary, it would be better to tip beet on a small hard matting area.

Amazing machine. Is it only the 4wd that drives it foward. Hard to believe it can push itself foward in such muck
Yes it’s just the4 wheel drive that moves it.
Awesome you done it 👏 how long does it take to load the lorry?
This rain just doesn't want to give up this year 😮
4-5 mins per lorry.
Those loaders have been a game changer, what would you have done if you were still using a loading shovel and cleaner?
Would have taken about twice as long.
