Was feeling sorry for myself about the bottles I was able to find this year. Maybe even thinking about packing in the collecting. It's gotten too stupid. I don't know the right people and I don't have the money to spend. Blah blah blah the secondary market has ruined American whiskey blah blah blah. And then I walk into my close by shop to pick up a bottle Pikesville (this bottle is the girl you marry because you can deal with her forever - nothing crazy or fancy - a solid B+/A- all the way around - jack all trades, expert at none) and I find . . . a dusty bottle of EC C920 sitting on the shelf! And with that I have the bug again. Hopefully violent crimes (or sexual favors) will not be necessary to secure a good bottle or two (or three) in 2021. Happy New Year to everyone.
