@@Daisyanddiego My Pyr was named Bailey. She was our pride and joy. A member of our family, she slept, ate and traveled with us. When I was recovering from a serious bout of cancer, she laid next to my bed and would not leave. If I had to go downstairs, she leaned against me, pushing me against a wall so I would not fall down the stairs. On a very hot day, I returned home from work and saw Bailey laying on a flotation mattress and relaxing, floating in the pool. She was a full member of our home. One day, when she was twelve, she laid down and could not stand up. Her back legs kept folding underneath her. The vet stated we had to put the 120 pound dog down…we were heartbroken and lost for about a year later. Home just was not home, without Bailey… someone asked me about Bailey. Bailey she was our pride and joy a member of our family. She slept and traveled with us. She continued having much difficulty standing and was in pain. It was time to let her go…though she has remained in our hearts and her memory is very much alive. We think of her often and reminisce about the time when she was with us.
