- Sparking Zero is finally here and fans are getting their hands on the custom battle mode for the first time! Even though these were only recorded on day one fans are already breaking and stretching the rules to the limits creating some absolutley insane battles! Chiatzu vs Jiren, Future gohan saving the androids from Tapion, Trunks beating and frieza and more all on day one of the game being out!

Custom battle is so crazy. They really just gave everyone the ability to make their own stories and fights and it’s so cool.

The concept goes hard but vegeta would have been cooked. His power level was stated to be around 250,000 before he got dende to heal him. At best he would have been about 1mil. Even with super saiyan, frieza would have been over twice as strong as him and he'd have lost. Only way he could win is to go all out in a single burst before Frieza can power up(which he's too prideful to do) or tire him out so that his power level drops

Bro was feeling himself up against _Final Form Frieza._ No shot he's talking all that trash if he only got as strong as his Second Form.
Vegeta would be 2 mil _minimum,_ and with that he's cooking Frieza easily as a SSJ due to not letting him reach full power. And even Full Power Frieza is done if Vegeta was able to eclipse 2.5 mil in base, which could have possibly been the case since Goku was augmenting his 3 mil base with Kaioken throughout the fight with Frieza (which would explain him faring much better than Vegeta even if their base power levels were close).

when i first saw this feature announced i thought it was because they knew they'd never be able to reach fan expectations on the wacky what ifs old dragon ball games had with the high quality standards that this game was pushing, so they went all in on letting us do this ourselves.
but like, the story mode lets you go completely off the rails and diverge through long alternate routes. they totally satisfied what most fans were probably expecting with just the story mode, so like, they just gave us the most in depth player content tools i've ever seen because they fucking could!
Imagine if someone were to make a whole story about a freeza solider who trains under every member of the freeza army until he gets to become so strong that afterwards freeza himself asks him for help to fight against goku, vegeta, beerus and whis.
Plus the idea of that also helps on dp battles since if you can get comfy with less popular characters you can pretty much beat anyone with any character in the game.
Afterall if it's just like in the tenkaichi series we all knew and loved, you can play any character you want and most combos are still done the same way.
I was working on Trunks fighting against a strong frieza soldier but I NEED CAPSULES TO BUFF THEM LOL

I'm having a blast creating complicated custom battles filled with dialogues, interactions and a few cutscenes in the middle. Just saddened to see many of the custom battles published seem to be low effort memes

I could see someone just making their own timeline of DB in just custom games. Actually the amount of content in custom games is sooo good for dbz content creators.
Once they make an actual search engine for the dialog, there will be a big boom in story quality.
Right now it takes a few hours to do just the dialog alone because of how abysmal the filter system is right now

Custom Battles are the greatest thing ever.. Playing the tenkaichi games as a kid, i was always making up storylines in my head and playing the fights out in game. Now, I can make those fantasies come to life in the game. They really went above and beyond with this game.

I'm super hyped for this mode because it allows me "change" some canon events that I never liked.
Now I'm creating my own version of the Tournament of Power and even though I've already published the prologue of the story, I think I'll delete it in order to publish it again in a better format.
If, and I stress the IF part, I were to fully commit to this story, there's also the possibility that *ShareFactory could play a part in it.
*ShareFactory is a PS5 edit system that allows to modify videos and photos directly from the PS5 itself, which is also how people like me manage to post videos on RUclips without relying on computers.
Highly recommend some of you try these out! Their very simple to do and purchase the following: Capsules, the AI fighting styles(My personal favorite is defense: counters and music.)
It'll help the AI become a challenge too!
When I saw the word "breaking," I thought it meant glitches. But I did encounter 2 bugs in the story mode:
1: When you fight 2nd form Frieza as Piccolo, he's supposed to transform when his health gets low enough. But since I had reduced his health to what would have been 0 just before he did, he transformed, got his health back, and just flopped to the floor and never got up.
2: When you're playing as Vegeta fighting Trunks in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, if you do enough damage quickly, he'll go Super Trunks. Unfortunately, just before he did, once again, his health would have gone to 0. He transformed, got hit, and neither of us could hit each other. Not even counters. The counter would activate, but there would be no hit, Trunks would just freeze for a second and try to attack again.
I had the second glitch happen to me as goku against vegeta
In some ways, the game does feel a bit unfinished, but not in a way that would negatively impact my feelings about it. Namely, the lack of narration in most parts of the story clips.. That first glitch watching Frieza slide along the floor into the water made me laugh so hard my head hurt. But hitting him with a super fixed it. Had to restart the Trunks fight, though.
For me sometimes my character freezes and you can’t do anything and have to restart the battle
For those on xbox struggling to find games just turn items on. For some reason it makes it easier to connect to eachother
I do love gaming, but Amazon screwed me by ignoring my pre-order and giving it to everyone else who ordered after me, I had to call Customer Service to get a priority on it along with a note to get my Pre-Order bonus for the Ultimate Edition and I STILL don't know when I'm getting it. I know I shoulda just cancelled it and got the digital version but I'm a sucker for Physical copies.

one of the whis missions to get a dragon ball was to make a custom battle so there's probably a bunch of throw away battles made by people who don't have much of a urge to create custom battles like myself.

Couldn't get it to work either. For me characters would fire their blasts only after the other was finished, never at the same time.
I made that one and imma be honest after fooling around with it they only sometimes happen and sometimes don't it's really inconsistent

I’ve made 3 episodes that are gonna all connect Into a 6-8 episode arc about future gohan surviving with trunks after his last fight with the androids where he was supposed to die starts off with gohan,trunks going back in time and fighting mecha freeza and king cold thought about adding
Second episode starts in west city where instead of fighting gero and 19 but this time around he already awakened the other 3 androids and there all attacking west city so it’s a 5v5
Future gohan ,trunks,vegeta,goku,piccolo

Android 16,17,18,19 & dr.Gero
Third episode
Starts with future gohan and piccolo heading to the hyperbolic time chamber after vegeta and trunks then goku & teen gohan enter
While all that is happening tien ,krill in are trying to blow up 18 and cell appears they join forces to attack cell but to there surprise cell has android 13 with em since he can’t absorb him he had him join him in his conquest to rule timelines and attain his perfect form so it’s a 5v2

I have one critique for this video and that's the Mr Satan portion when he's glazing the cutscenes no they're not cutscenes they're just overblown slideshows
That's the games cutscenes so they are cutscense, sadly we can't make them fully cutscens due to lack of it he's not going judge the maker of the what ifs but he would judge the Gane devs
I love how the video JUST started, he only said "the best feature", and I already went "oh a custom battles video!" right before he actually said it
11:51 as far as I know, You can turn off the cutscene in the middle of the fight (if there is) if you don’t click that button or vice versa

Planetary destruction is still in the game man.
It's still in the game it's just hard to make it planetary since in the Olds games it is every stage here we have more cgraxters and stuff so it's not the big ox feal you can do it in planet namaek if you want

Eventually with mods you'll be able to give future Gohan ssj 2, ultimate or even beast to play how the story would've gone if he had survive and things like that, this game will be insane.
I need to know how the creator of the Goku Black Battle triggered it to where both characters launched a Blast at the same time to trigger the Clash. For me no matter what I tried, they would only do it sequentially.
I made it but I can't tell you how I got it to work cause even when I tested it, it wouldn't do the clash on every single attempt

Nah, i had so many original ideas for custom battle mode but i gave up, the amount of time it takes to find a single sentence is insane, The filtering system doesnt help either. I'll consider trying it again if they update it
