So i made this recipe today and i have to admit this is one fool proof recipe for whoever wants to cook it. I was v double minded intially thinking that it wud be risk to cook biryani w a short cut but it turned out so so good !! Tip: add 3 mashed or grinded tomatoes before putting the chicken on dam rest is perfect, i also added red pepper flakes for enhanced flavour but its totally about preference

I think agr in sb masalon ki jaga biryani masala(Shan any other) laga kar marinate karen to bhe achhi banay ki.... By the way it's really good recipe 👍🏻
Biryani has few main ingredients which you didnt add...elaichi, little bit of nutmeg/mace (optional though) in chicken and last aromatics like kewra and rose water...without these it doesn't make much of a difference between pulao and biryani But this is definitely simple..so i will give it a try including my method... let's see how it turns out
@@mahnoor-0 yup even elaichi is also fine. But the more aromatics you add the better it becomes. I havent even mentioned few things here that my mother adds i.e. poppy seeds and khas ki jad they provide some different aroma to it. You can also add saffron to it. But since it is expensive we generally dont use.
@@mohammaduzair154 exactly and biryani is famous for being richest in flavours and the more flavours the more good..and gonna ask my mum to try your mother's recipie cuz the ingredients you're telling seems tasty already😌🤤 and when the one is biryani lover..its defo gonna be delicious(can smell it already😂)

Tried this and happy to say that it worked! Can set aside the Shan masalas now.

Not sure the issue you’re having…if the rice sticks to the pot, you’ll need to keep the heat at very very low
