About five minutes ago I was trying to think of a tutorial. I thought to myself, how-about a TV with a picture playing on it. It was almost as if Google was reading my mind because when I clicked on my browser YT was already open and guess what video was recommended to me. Yep, it was your video. So in short, you beat me to it. 😎
You mean the particle fluid simulation with the 7 different colors? I thought about doing a tutorial for that but I'm not sure how to go about it. Especially because the baking process can take many hours even with a fairly powerful PC. I think it took me about 8 hrs to bake.
ooooh you can use MP4 files for animated texture!!!! ooooh that just opens up so much possibilities! and ive been looking for this for sooooo long thank you very much my dude. like and subbed
2:44 you should only select the rim when beveling like this. If you look at the corners you can see it's got a weird beveled cube effect and lots of unnecessary edges.
Could you please tell me how I can make the inserted animation on the screen repeat in a loop? I tried the texture settings with cyclic and repeat etc but it doesn`t work... BTW thanks for the awesome tutorial!
I have question to some animation pros here. I wanna make a cardistry video, and i wanna animate the back of the cards ( with another design like roses that are moving or so). Is it the same principe as this or do i need to do this on a other way? I use Adobe Premiere Pro :) (Hope u know what i mean)
If the film you set on the screen doesn't play as it does in thos tutorial, a simple workaround is to inset (i) when holding the cursor over 'offset' (under end frame) in the image texure-node. Just have it inset the frame of the vid at the same frame as your render (ie: your offset at frame 1 in the image texture, while your render is at frame 1, then inset the new/end frame in the image texture offset, when in your render you want the vid to change/end... If though your whole render, simply inset the first, and end frame)
Can't seem to find principled under surface, in blender 2.79 I have a button named surface then to the left, wire, volume and halo. under that is something called lambert next to the diffuse and accordions for specular, mirror, and sub surface scattering among others. is there something under user preferences I should have changed?
Hi Olav It is nice tutorial but unfortunately it didn't worked, although i followed you step-by-step, what could be wrong? I am using Blender 2.8 beta Thank you

Haha, you should do tutorials on some of your popular simulations. I would love to see a tutorial on the tubes with the different colors.
