@JoFaye are you headed to Queensland? If you love the beach Gold Coast is great. You'll also enjoy Airlie beach it's backpackers Haven. You can catch a boat to the islands.
Gday Jo, Loving your adventure thus far and really looking foward to seeing your reaction to my home city. Hope your group hops on a ferry and takes you around the harbour where your view will be amazing, As a Shambler I welcome you down under and hope the luck of the Blarney stone is with you. Take care young Lady. Yours Michael 🍀🦘
@@Aussie-63 aww thank you so much, Michael!! I’m loving Australia so far! Great vibes, lovely people & so much to do!! I’m documenting my whole travels on my youtube channel- so so excited!! 😆
Hi Jo, Welcome to Sydney! I recommend you take a return ferry ride across Sydney harbour from Circular Quay (which is near the Sydney Opera House) to a place called Manly Beach 😉It's nice to do on a sunny day! A short walk from the opera house through the pleasant Botanic Gardens gets you to the Sydney Art Gallery. The Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb at sunrise or sunset is a memorable experience 👍🏽👍🏽Also, consider checking out the scenic view of Sydney and suburbs from Centrepoint Tower which may help you get your barings. There is good coffee and pubs all over the place!
@@1BIGFROGGY Wow! Thank you so much for all these great tips! My Sydney vlog is actually out in a few days (stay tuned😉)! I managed to tick off lots during my stay! I loved Sydney! Super busy - but great atmosphere for a first timer!!😁
You are certainly are a conversationist. Beach locations often draw the fit minded types. But head away from the beach inland and that mindset quickly vanishes. It must be the sea air and wealth that makes people that way. I spent most lunches at work running about Sydney city, because it was a social thing. Enjoy.
If you havent and you're still here, cheapest and best thing to do is get a ferry from Circular quay to Manly, perfect was to spend a day at Manly beach and also see Sydney on the harbour for dirt cheap. Just tap on and off with your credit card
More of a Blue Mountains guy would recommend checking those out if you havent planned to, but glad you are enjoying the beach life. Good accent attempt lmao
@@stalliondave9338 I wanted to do the Blue Mountains day trip in Sydney, but it was fully booked the days I was there! (That vlog is out in a few days!) Looked amazing!!
@JoFaye oh sad times it's nice up here at the moment, nice temperature and the waterfalls are happening because we've had some rain. Was it like the Three Sisters thingo? Very popular Ok I'll check it out 👍
@JoFaye how long is your list 😂 what you really need is a road trip! Wanted to agree about the mornings too. Running at sunrise makes you feel electric. Or at least it does for me, nothing lile it
@ oh it’s very long!😂 Might not get around to it all in this leg - but it’s more of a lifetime bucket list! Yes! 100% - sunrise runs really set me up great for the day☺️ I’m not fast at all, but i love them!

You want to save money shop at Chemist Warehouse and Priceline Pharmacy all your suncream, girly stuff and drugs "legal" etc. just a tip for ya.
Thank you so much for the tip!! I’ve seen quite a lot of discount chemists - they are great!
Mate don't go to Byron, it sucks. Go to Yamba or any one of the beautiful towns and beaches around Byron.
Thanks for the suggestion! It’s part of the group tour which I am going on - I’m here right now and loving it!
Go to Byron, because that's where you kinfolk will be 🤙 Yamba etc is for people with cars that have seen the usual spots.
