Great video! I love classics like Casablanca and Citizen Kane but they are not included in my Top 20 movie list. Lots of very old Sci-Fi (and 70s disaster movies) in my Top 20 movie list. Outstanding video. Thanks.
Love it, watched all 57 mins! I love how much you love film!! THANK YOU
Ignore the trolls. That's just the internet. Having watched your recent video collection uploads, I think you have only around 5 of my favourite 100 films of all time, and I've probably not seen 95% of your collection, ...but that is one of the great things about all the movies that are out there. I do love Tokyo Drifter (on the shelf behind you). It is 29th in my own favourites list.
@steve4films I'd love to hear your top 100 films. I have a much bigger dvd collection so probably have a lot of them there.
I did 30 favourite movies in less than 20 minutes lol 😅, nice picks mate 👍🏻
Great Pt. 2 video man
Thanks for sharing your top 10. Some great movies in there for sure. I will go back and give Ronin another look.
I’ll add to the rewatchable list I made in your part 1 with: Shawshank Redemption, True Grit (Cohen Bros), The Big Lebowski, Lethal Weapon (The Original), Blade Runner, Wall-E, The Road Warrior, Castaway, and Apocalypto. I could watch Apocalypto over and over, it’s pure cinematic beauty.
Great part two of your top 25 movies of all time :)
Haven't seen Ronin in a long time. Have seen it at the movies when it was released and liked it a lot.
Going to watch it again soon!
My favorite trilogy too, Back To The Future. And it's number one in my top 25 movies of all time.
A couple of weeks ago I went to the musical of Back To The Future and it was great!
Yes, they've did change small plot points a bit (like Doc isn't killed by terrorists, but by radiation poisoning), but overall I loved it very much!
And I'm not really a big fan of most musicals.
Don't listen to that commenter, ironically they are the ones who don't know film, not you. Enjoyed the ranking, thanks for the video!
Nice to see Ronin get some love.....has been one of my favorites since I first saw it back in the day!
Everyone’s taste is different and you can tell if someone’s top 10 movie list is real or pretentious rubbish if there is some bizarre movie on the list or if it’s a cookie cutter response.
If it’s just a cookie cutter list then you know just to ignore them.
Nice selection on your top 20, many of them reminds me of my childhood.
My top 20 include the likes of The Rocky Horror picture show, The Andromeda Strain & Bound.
Enjoy the movies you like and don’t care what people think.
Rocky IV , am well chuffed at you selecting this so highly,i love the Rocky franchise and obviously the first is the best film but ..Apollo Creed ,James Brown ,a steroid fuelled Russian ,Log cabin ,Big beard and Rock on a mountain screaming Draaaggggooo.....In my top ten also ..Respect
So sad about Fox's health after such a career rise. Mainly watched him on TV in Family Ties, but I admit to not even paying attention that there was a Back to Future III when it was released. The first movie was a great experience on the big screen at the time, but now for me it's just a nostalgic look back. My favorites with Fox are Bright Lights, Big City, (although it is quite a shock to see Marty Mcfly depicted using cocaine) and Light of Day and a surprisingly funny The Hardway as runner-ups.
No need to apologize for the length!! Ramble on sir for the love of cinema 🤘🤘
Out of your top 10 I have seen Independence Day (doesn't work for me), Beverly Hills Cop (lot of fun!), Ronin (great movie with impressive directing!) and Back to the Future (lot of fun!). I think I have seen parts to Rocky IV, but that doesn't count.
My movie taste is quite different from yours: Star Wars Episodes I - VI are by far my favourite movies. Spielberg on the other hand is my favourite director and his movies are very high on my list (A.I. is probably my favourite of them all). I love J-Horror. I love Peter Seller's Pink Panther movies. I love Jacques Tati's movies (Playtime is a mindblowing masterpiece for me). Gaspar Noe's Climax blew me away. Roman Polanski has great films. So has Stanley Kubrick. Same with Michael Mann and Brian De Palma. Michael Haneke is the master of ultra-realism and so on. Really, I don't know how my top 25 would turn out (Star Wars movies + Spielberg movies?).
Sorry about someone commenting your top 25 suggesting you don't know cinema. People should be more relaxed about what other people like. You don't enjoy Dawn of the Dead any less knowing I enjoy Climax and I don't enjoy Spielberg's A.I. any less knowing you don't have any Spielberg movies in your top 25. Differences in tastes is interesting if anything. Thanks for these interesting videos!
You know the Crazy thing, Indiana Jones, E.T, Saving Private Ryan and Jaws all just missed out on the top 25. I love Spielberg but the films I chose just mean that little bit more to me.
@@CineApocalypseOnline Well, that is cool to hear. 🙂 You've mentioned positive things about Spielberg in some of your videos. That's why I was wondering if any his movies got into your top 25 or close to that.
@pojuantsalo3475 apart from the top 5 films, it can change depending on how I feel. If i was to do this again in a year, maybe Close Encounters or Raiders will be on the list, maybe even ET or Jaws.
I love dawn of the dead but day of the dead is my favourite 👍🏻
Btw time machine made my top 30 it's a beautiful film 📽️👍🏻
I pulled out my Conan blu-ray and watched last night for the first time in a while.
Yours seems like mostly a nostalgia based list. Nothing wrong with that good sir!
However youre omission of RoboCop is punishable by Mad Max 3 style Gulag!
Robocop is in my 25 to 10 rundown. Also I didn't bust a deal or face the wheel for a gulag style punishment
@CineApocalypseOnline whew! Good thing you didn't, because that would've been damn near the death of us all!
Some of them I like but not as much as your first selection. But that isn't to say they aren't awesome films.
