I would have to say Sandy, you're a grafter. You obviously work hard to produce these videos, and I'm sure it's well appreciated by all. Well done, Sandy from us downunder in NZ.
As a fellow Wiltshire man, but currently overseas, seeing your videos brings some kind of peace to my soul, in a funny way. I need to see the Wiltshire countryside every now and then just to touch base, and the familiarity of the fields, woods, lanes and roads is soothing and peaceful to me.
That certainly is a nice woodland. I discovered six or seven years back after the local hardware store was subsumed by a national hardware store chain, they carried the exact size neoprene gasket the Trangia stove requires at about a tenth the price of the “real McCoy”. This allows me to carry the Trangia filled right up. I just change out the gasket once a year. Never have had a leak. I do carry the aluminum fuel bottle because plastic bottles are always flexing when I start a camping trip at 5000 feet altitude where home is, and get to camp at 9000 to 12000 feet (and above in summer). Thanks as always for the fine video. Really enjoyed the ride out video to Avebury; I recognized lots of the places you rode to and through.
Fabulous camp Sandy mate 👍 Not a blooming owl to be heard 🦉😃🕺🏻 Passing your gaff on Saturday morning, listen out for the hoot - one of these days, one of These Days 😘 All the best to you and yours 👍 🍻 🍻 CHEERS 🍻 🍻
That was a wonderful vlog. Restful, relaxing, that steak looked perfect, it’s hard to beat the Openel knife for food prep. A very happy , peaceful, Christmas to you and yours.
That was a perfect wintertime camp Sandy. A chance to get out one of your motorcycles and have a beautiful ride out to a beautiful woodlands and set up a perfect camp. It was obvious that you had a wonderful and relaxing time out there with a great friend. I am pretty certain that a lot of the worlds problems were discussed and properly solved out around that campfire. You surely have the hot tent camping thing nailed down perfectly. The One Tigris tent and the Woodswalker woodstove is a very good combo. Thank you so much for taking your camera with you, very much appreciated. See you on the next one. Enjoy the holidays my friend. Good health to both you and your family.
Top camp that sandy, glad to see you still rocking the buffalo. Just a must have bit of kit, served me so well over my time in the mob. Love to all the family 👍♥️♥️👍😊
Superb, a glorious woodland camp mate, ya cant beat that Sandy and in Hampshire, my neck of the woods. I did think you were being a little ambitious with that wrap buddy 😅. Like you Sandy I'm a Trangia user have been for years, love the things, cracking bit of kit. Another great video, keep them coming Sandy, really enjoy your videos. Big thumbs up mate👍 Regards Moose
Lovely woodland, tent, woodburner, and ofcourse the trusty Trangia stove, that coffee is actually my favourite brand and yes it smells delicious, Steve has a great fire going there, i like hummus and it has a great fibre content i shall have to try it with some protein, cosy bedtime fire and a fruity bedtime toddy in a lovely gift bottle, great camp and video Sandy and also thanks to Steve 👏👋
Well done Sandy, really enjoyed being with you, it just goes to show us elderly gents can have boy fun, may be give it a try myself if I get the chance, t.he Lake District areas are full of little wooded areas like that out of the way, thanks for the effort enjoyed it. North west coast biker dude Ted
Nice one Sandy, what a combination, a trip on Chug, some great tasty cooking and a lovely warm tent to sleep in, well bloody done mate. ATB Big Dave Scotland
That steak wrap looked superb. I swear by those coffee bags too, they make a cracking cuppa. The least said about that breakfast medley though the better 😂
Nice to see you to see you nice sandy again back out camping 🏕 in your bell tent in the woods 🪵 hope all is well for you and your family stay healthy one life enjoy have very very nice Christmas 🎄 blessed be
Epic video dad , the trangia 27 is such a good stove , I still use mine especially if I cooking some a bit fancy. Great video, merry Christmas to you and all the family.
Nice bit of camping 👍 when bike camping I tend to leave my chair out til last, it’s a handy place to keep things whilst packing. Everyone has their own way of doing things and so they should 😁
Nice one Sandy, you took us there, like the raw onion on the wrap, a real superfood. Don't forget you got 2 hands to saw firewood, build up your left side. Look fwd to nxt one OM, 73 es Seasons Greetings.
Another good video Sandy, makes me want to get out again! though I am just back from a two day trip to Cruit Island in Donegal, you do have the same gear as me from the stove to the lamp all a great addition to any camp. keep up the good work mate. Brian Ireland
Good camp Sandy ,that bottle is gorgeous, what a lovely present, and the drink inside looks very dark and delicious, what did it taste like?😊 well I bought a stove after looking hard and watching a few reviews I bought an Ohuhu Rocket , very pleased, I’m going to be trying these pressed woods chips as they produce less smoke and burn for longer , so looking forward to my first camp which will be in the spring sometime. Also bought a couple of those lamps you have but unfortunately the first one arrived all smashed so I’ve sent a message to the sender. I see you have your panniers on your bike well loaded up . 😊
Hi Donna, Sorry to hear about your broken lamp, was it the Fuerehand brand made in Germany? Thats the one I use, very good lamps. Yes the Blackberry vodka tasted rich and fruity. I hope your new stove works well for you on your camp in the Spring:)
Great video Sandy as always. I liked that little hundred year old bottle and it’s contents looked pretty nice too. Do you happen to know how long your stove pipe is? I was wondering if it was a 3 meter one, as I wanted to get a bigger hot tent and think my current stove pipe will be too short to allow clearance. Thanks.😊
I’m going out camping over Xmas. The dog is coming but she doesn’t know yet. I will not have a stove but might take a hot water bottle! I cremate my steak ! Merry Christmas WM 😀
Your wildcamps seem wonderfull, but living in the county this video is taken, my nearest legal wildcamp site is Dartmore. Am I wrong if so can someone offer how without permission- or does one get permission. Not meant to be negative- just need understand bylaws. Have a good next trip and next etc,etc
Sandy, Christmas will soon be upon us - So let me wish you and Mandy the very best for the season - December, allegedly, supposedly this is “The season of good will to all men!” However, it seems that this year, once again various nations and groups around the world didn’t get the memo! For those reading this who have some regard for the Bible see Luke 2:14
A Lovely night out with a mate, thanks for sharing Sandy!
What wonderful footage Sandy, the views, the campsite and meal and everything together was great to watch👍
Happy Christmas Sandy. Peace on Earth and goodwill toward Men who have pleased Him. Prayers for those who have not. I mean onions for breakfast.......
Yes I agree with your sentiment, onions for breakfast are OK provided they are fried:)
Another relaxing camp out Sandy. Inspiring that you took the stove and hot tent on the bike!
Happy Holiday my British friend, Really nice & relaxing video. Thanks for taking your time. Have a beautiful day! Cheers!! Illinois, USA

I find your camping videos really relaxing although I often feel hungry by the end of them !
Oh, Sandy. That was probably the best cooked steak I've ever seen cooked in the woods. Always a treat whenever you drop some content. Thx
It came out well, I pan fried it the left it close to the fire to rest for a few minutes
Another lovely video. Thank you for sharing your adventures with us.
Nice one Sandy.
Happy Christmas!

Wishing you and all the family Sandy a most marvellous Yuletide! ☺️🔥🙏
Same to you John, it would be nice to get some snow at some point
Nice little camp Sandy. Outside is the best medicine. The woods, might be the best doctor.
I reckon so Jim. Since the lockdowns etc I am now very wary of the powers that be, it seems like they have gone rogue.
You looked very rested Sandy I'm glad you had a lovely time.
You realy do know how to make a cosy home in the woods, nice video sandy, cheers!

Thanks, Sandy! Raw onion? Chop the steak into strips before you cook it with the onion. Then transfer to the wrap with the cheese. Jobs a gooden!
Great camp Sandy. I must get out soon.
Get out when you can Rob, I'm hoping for some snow at some point, that will make for a great Hot tent experience

Enjoy it while you can, people.

#outstanding All round lovely Sandy😉😎
I found this camp very relaxing I must say. The next camp will be on bicycle I reckon:)
They were a bit mean with the filling of that mince pie, Sandy.
Happy bloody Christmas! 😁
Its what you get with modern mince pies these days:) Just wait til you get your box of quality street and then you'll understand!!!
@@WiltshireMan We are all victims of 'shrinkflation,' Sandy. Sometimes they get you both ways: Price rises, _and_ the size goes down... Bastards!
I think King Charles would have liked that breakfast ,Sandy! Looked delicious.
A good vet would have that steak on its feet and back in the field in half an hour.

Merry Christmas WM 😀
Its always nice to have a loyal four legged friend with you Dave, once the shooting season is over I may be able to take my dogs camping too
Whoa, where did that chimney come from Sandy, bit of hocus pocus going on?
Do you have a car as you seem to like being on Bike's and Trikes, love your Jouneys ❤
Hi Richard, yes I do have an old car but I prefer the ride if I can
Is that the wood that has the magic beer tree?
Not this one John, the Wizards tree is elsewhere:)
