One thing not mentioned here is a tricky property of Revenge, known as Impact Revenge. If Incineroar is hit exactly on frame 3 of Revenge while in the air, Incineroar will drift a short distance on momentum. This is actually an incredibly useful movement option for players with good reaction times. It allows Incineroar to recover, get into a zoner’s space, and chase follow ups against opponents trying to air dodge away after getting hit by the Revenge flames. Because Incineroar is effectively moving during the animation frames of a successful Revenge, the right follow up would be unreactable to the opponent, as they are either in hitstun or endlag.
Incineroar main here. Everything in this video was great and I was rewatching it to remember everything here because this helped me learn Incineroar when I first started. I realized that I should mention something for anyone else who doesn't know about it yet. Something that I don't see talked about as much is Initial Dash. While Incineroar's initial dash isn't very fast, it is very fast in comparison to his normal run speed. That is an excellent technique to get in a zoner or campy opponent's space. Also, you can condition them by dashing at them and making them want to come at you first by using laggy options, or you can sit in shield for a little while they throw attacks out and force them to try and grab you, and you can instead punish it. Anyways, excellent guide! Keep it up!
Nice job. But you didn't talk about how revenge gives him safer moves on shield. A lot of players forget this and try to punish formally punishable moves only to be punished instead.
No one has done a full guide on this either!!! There's one video out there showing how Nair and down tilt become + on shield which can lead to some nasty shield break set ups. But it doesn't go through any of his other attacks It can completely change his neutral through shield pressure. For example down air is -8 and not particularly useful in neutral. Just from trial and error, I guesstimated that it becomes -2 or even on shield with max Revenge. What I did was cross up Bowser with down air, then reverse Up B to armor through his up B since Bowser's is frame 6.
Now, this isn't really useful in competitive play, but Incineroar does have an amazing final smash that can be used for recovery and killing as early as 20%, plus it looks awesome
I'm french and I want to say thank you for this video, because there is nothing so complete for Incineroar (Felinferno in french) in my language. It's very complete and very understandable, even if you're not good in english. Very good job man !!
Nice work bro. Im looking to main Incineroar because of how cool he felt and your guide cements it in and I will likely refer to this a lot. Im looking to secondary Isabelle and I see you have a guide on her, so thats a sub for me. Nice work.
Incineroar for a heavyweight character has some pretty insane pressure, and combo options, I appreciate you notbae for encouraging me to main incineroar again.
Half through the video I startet playing the cat against KKR. If they recover to the edge with upB you can counter in the last moment standing on top of them. Makes for a good conditioning.
I feel so bad slowly falling onto KKR's propeller with revenge > fair to eventually force them to recover around the ledge, only to have them eat a juicy bair
I could be wrong but his video plays best at .25 speed if you’ve the patience, you really get to see what sort of movement is necessary to be good with incineroar Music go’s hard af too
I love me some wrastle cat, I never gave up on him and my buddy who's way better at fighting games has to play super safe when I use him or DK. I get a good read and his stock is rocked. Gonna be studying this guide and Skyjay so I can instill more fear in him
You forgot to mention the fact that revenge gives incineroar safer moves and also you forgot to mention that Incineroar's Forward Throw is especially really useful on 2s and Free For All's. Because it can it multiple opponents. And the hit is actually extremely powerful.
i have not been using the tilts and throws didnt realize how useful they were, these guides are always great id love to see your input about banjo/kazooie
Very, very good video Should note that you can angle his up-b to mixup where you land to try and survive longer Should also point out that d-air is super rewarding and starts very damaging combos at low percents / sets up for kills Good for techchases Not only that but the sourspot at low percents can lead to combos / grab Going for it in neutral like falcon d-air
A RUclipsr named Apolition has a great series of guides for Greninja that you should check out if you haven’t or are in need of help learning/advancing with Gren
Imagine if incin just had Terry or Samus speed. Even at just around 1.7 run speed it would probably make him the best heavy besides maybe, bowser or Kazuya Mishima.
Revenge + lariat (down B + side B) does over 60 percent witch means that if you hit someone at 0 with it then there 1 well positioned smash attack away from dying again. In other words Incineroars strong side B is a DLC move.
Yeah I lost a tourney in my highschools esports club yesterday because while I know how to juggle and ariel attack with Incineroar, I couldn't stop spamming his side b for whatever reason, which costed me the tourny. I still did great in it, accor to everyone who was in it and they said I'm not bad and I can definitely make my Incineroar better than it already is with practice. My main problem is that I for whatever reason never utilize A, so I never use stuff like Cheeto Fingers. Hope this guide can help me
@@Creepo_J lol I’m not complaining. I’ve been an incineroar main since the game came out and it’s been a cool experience If it’s a bad matchup i just simply switch, every character has bad matchups.
I just picked up Wrestling Garfield and was disappointed with the lack of Incineroar guide content. NotBae coming in clutch
Wrestling Garfield lmfaooooo
Let's be all honest: His Shiny skin is ugly AF
@@julo_ghost His shiny should've been the red/black alt

Man, Skyjay’s recent performances have made me want to pick Incin up. Watching him is a thing of beauty.

It's easier than it sounds too!

Wow did not see this one coming! Great guide as always bro. Incin and his CHEETO fingers are so fun to play
Yoo, even I use the word Cheeto fingers for his forward tilt

You have the best character guides out there. Showing the frame data is game changing
Nice job. But you didn't talk about how revenge gives him safer moves on shield. A lot of players forget this and try to punish formally punishable moves only to be punished instead.
That's a really good tip

How to play incineroar
Step 1: Side b
Step 2: Mash neutral b when in disadvantage
Step 3: Profit
I see nothing wrong here.
Accurate
down b in disadvantage

Its about time cheeto fingers is getting some love
Are you reading my mind? I just picked up incineroar.
I picked him up a few days ago and easily the most fun character I've played, new favorite so this guide helps build my knowledge, thanks!
Usually it's hard for me to remember the information provided in guides but for some reason I learned a lot from this one.
I'm french and I want to say thank you for this video, because there is nothing so complete for Incineroar (Felinferno in french) in my language.

Great guide. The gen 7 game music made me remember the good times with incineroar in the games
Your like the only person who shows frame data when they talk about the moves ur really good at making guides

One day it'd be fun to see your take on K. Rool!
incineroar is such an interesting & terrifying character yet being the slowest character in the game is actually quite cool
K. Rool guide next? We've yet to get an updated K. Rool guide
thank you for such a detailed and helpful video.
This is a really good guide
I appreciate it bro your video was great
quality content
Since for that….I’m subscribing bc I needed this
Up b is a great kill option near the ledge its kills at like 75
HE SAID THE FUNNY
Thank you so much for this video!!!!
Incineroar in a nutshell: your combo is mine now
Great guide
I just found out that incineroar is Voice by the same person who voices duck from WordWorld.
what a great vid
I dont see anything mentioning forward B off ledge and being able to do it back like i see skyjay do often. How is this done?
You are the GOAT
Stay safe from covid-19 (not bae) ,
and keep your masks on god damn it. we still have the delta variant to deal with.
Ok... yeah
The Cheeto finger
I can’t hit an up combo right after the down grab what am I doing wrong??
How do I jump out of Up-B like you did at 17:40?
Question: how do I do his close line when doing side b? Because I been seeing people do his side b with his arm closing in on the character.
3:39 "FUUUCK"?
