I had never realized that Smokey sent those mice to collect Stuart. Kid me was so confused about how they came to be in the story. And i absolutely didn't understand what was happening when they said they were "taking Stuart to meet some friends." Thanks for clearing that up.
This was one of the movies I had on VHS as a kid and watched EVERY single day. I rewatched it recently as an adult and finally understood the lessons I didn’t quite get when I was younger. Really teaches you how far kindness can get you. Also would love to see you react to the Back to the Future movies!
This was just a classic movie in our households when we were kids for me and my siblings. But one and two was always around in the house. I prefer the second movie I found it funnier. The soundtrack was amazing and the feelings and emotions. I loved it. And the cat was finally able to get a little more role.
My connection to this movie as a nerly 29yo is that when I was younger, I think maybe 5-6, my mum and I were living in a small rental home we could barely afford (we had to rent it from a friend because we'd recently come out of near-homelessness/couch surfing so they were very kind to us) and this was one of the two VHS tapes I owned, the other was The Wizard of Oz, and I would watch this movie on repeat. I loved it then and I love it now, I still get really nostalgic and emotional throughout this journey. Later on when I was in my mid-late teenage years, I actually bought two rats because I fell in love with the idea of having one. We couldn't get mice, we had cats and they were a bit too small haha
I actually only watched this a few years ago & LOVED IT! I honestly wish I watched it sooner. It definitely seems like a movie that would’ve made it to my big list of childhood nostalgia films!
The movie concept might seem silly, but Stuart Little is an analogy for adopting a kid with a disability. He can't do things well and possibly even has a learning disability too. And Snowball could represent a troubled older child or teenager. Stuart is a mouse bc he as a human, "Looks like a mouse". Looking at the movie in this perspective is pretty dark with the "Alley cats" and Snowball wanting him dead. But it's in a way for children to enjoy and learn important lessons without it being too dark, but enough for adults to understand the imagery, actual messages, and purpose of the movie.
This movie was also my childhood I loved this movie when I was little. I watched this movie so many times when I was young to the point I say the entire movie script (plus the sound effects) when I'm bored along with other childhood movies. Nostalgic
I actually never watched this movie until I was older. When I was little though we had the second movie on disc and it was one of my favorite movies ever, sometimes even just hearing the music makes me tear up because of all the nostalgia :,) when I saw this after years and finally learned the origins of Stuart I cried like a babyyyy it’s such a touching and wholesome story. The second one is still better in my opinion so you should give it a watch soon!
Stuart Little and Free Willy are 2 movies I used to rewatch a lot as a child. I'm 22 rn but pretty sure it's been a decent 15 ish years since I saw it on TV!
Watched it with my grandma, my grandmother had every Disney DVR tape you can think of. R.I.P grandma. I wish I could get those tapes and book series of goosebumps which she had every book that came out, but I know the family probably sold them all.
This is literally my favorite movie of all time. And Stuart's CGI still holds up to this day. And I actualky did watch thus mivie as a kid all the time, on VHS, then on DVD. Edit: if you love the way the cats talk, you should watch the movie _Cats Vs Dogs._
I use to watch this movie with my brothers, i was a 90s kids alongside with my two younger brothers, so VHS/DVDs were a replay all the time, since my mom couldn’t afford DVDs all the time and there was no netflix
Personally, I’ve always felt like Stuart Little was a little too intense and emotional for young kids. The movie used to make me feel when sad for Stuart when he was taken from the family. 😢
This was one of my favorites growing up, and the sequels were great as well. I highly recommend them especially the second film. Yes there was film entitled Cats based on the iconic world renowned musical. While the film was ok for me, I highly recommend the 1998 filming of the musical to experience the magic and spectacular effects of it. For more films with Michael J. Fox: Back to the Future trilogy, Homeward Bound 1-2, Life with Mikey, and Teen Wolf. For Nathan Lane: Life with Mikey, Mouse Hunt, The Birdcage, and Mirror Mirror. For Gwen’s Davis: A League of Their Own, Cutthroat Island, and Beetlejuice. For Hugh Laurie: 101 Dalmatians (1996), The Borrowers (1997), Tomorrowland, and Holmes & Watson. For Jonathan Lipnicki: The Little Vampire, Like Mike, and When Zachary Beaver Came to Town. 🐭🐱👨👩👦🚗⛵️🗽💙💛❤️
This movie was one of my childhood favorites growing up along with the squeal which was also one I used to watch a good number of times as a kid. Another talking animal related movie you should check out is Charlotte's Web and you should please see Guillermo Del Toro iteration of Pinocchio which is just a emotionally moving well done movie. Specking of cats, please watch Cats Don't Dance its a animated gem.
this is a very old film, really, when this film was made, there was no DVD yet, there was only VHS, I can't think of that I would have seen more than Disney movies in VHS format
No, the humans can't understand Snowbell. Stuart can because there both animals like it or not. Somehow Stuart has the ability to speak both languages between human and animals. Well as the cat's sake goes. because they seem to never response when he is around the owner and when he talks, they never react to it. You see that more in movie 2 though. Because in the 2nd movie they can understand Shuarts friend who is a bird, I won't spoil it. But there is a scene that Snowbell is yelling at his owners, and they don't react or understand him.
Watching Stuart little grown-up was one of the best movies that I would watch starring Michael J Fox and Stuart little and the sequel Stuart Little two is just as good as the first one. There are many great actors who voiced the characters through the first door a little on the second!!! I highly recommend watching Stuart Little two!!!!!
Yeah, but I think sweetie tiger would represent Monty and and then smoky would represent Sandy and Bobo and I think that blonde one would represent spots P S. Sweetie tiger was supposed to be spelt like this sweetie. Tigger. mostly just because it sounded too much like. Tigger.
I watched this growing up, and I never realized Michael J. Fox played the Voise of Stuart. it's probably because it's been so long since I watched this movie.
This was a childhood movie for me and I loved it to bits. I still do despite its flaws. Have your daughter watch this with you next time I'm sure she'll like it!
You should watch the children’s books based movies like Charlotte web which was written 5 years after Stuart little. Or the roahl dahl stories like Matilda or the witches or James and the giant peach.
Im unsubbing for the editing alone. Watching the movie reaction in that tiny bubble isnt worth my time or anyone elses. You should be in the bubble and the movie full screen
This and 'Little Vampire' were my little hidden gem movies I didn't talk to people about, they're so personal and some people just don't get them
I love the little vampire movie, one of my favorite childhood movies and I still have it Stuart little is also my favorite movie from my childhood
Agree💯
I loved The Little Vampire when I was a kid. I used to watch it all the time.
My dad worked on both movies
I had never realized that Smokey sent those mice to collect Stuart. Kid me was so confused about how they came to be in the story. And i absolutely didn't understand what was happening when they said they were "taking Stuart to meet some friends." Thanks for clearing that up.

I actually only watched this a few years ago & LOVED IT! I honestly wish I watched it sooner. It definitely seems like a movie that would’ve made it to my big list of childhood nostalgia films!
My brother and I watched this movie all the time when we were kids.

I loved watching Stuart Little growing up. I watched it all the time with my grandma and my cousins.
As an adopted kid, this movie was a staple in our house.
Stuart Little and Free Willy are 2 movies I used to rewatch a lot as a child.

oh god, it gets me nostalgia that it me cry a bit.
I watched this movie so much, so many memories. Today: Stuart is the only house I like.
The dad, Hugh Laurie, played Dr. Gregory House in the show House, M.D.
I loved this movie when I was a kid, super underrated! glad you liked it!
I love Stuart Little.
I absolutely loved this movie as a kid. I eventually wore out the vhs, and hadn’t seen it for like 15 yrs and recently rediscovered it
My Juliette is Snowbell thats what she looks like I love Monty lol hilarious cat

This is a very underrated masterpiece I love Stuart Little.
To answer your question
The guy who played Fredrick the dad is Hugh Laurie and he was in the TV show House

This was a favorite movie of my kids and mine.
I loved this movie as a child but the second was a my favorite.
Loved this movie (and the second one) when I was little
You shall be surprised on watching other family related gems like the PADDINGTON MOVIE ADAPTATIONS
Or TED, for another kind of bear 🤣
@@StorymasterQ that would be TOTALLY different story, not to mention involving a toy bear🙄
Childhood movie please do the sequel😊
The second one is even better, you should watch that one if you haven’t already

7:35-7:40 To answer your question: It's kind of a animal language barrier thing in most fiction. You get used to it.
It's a pretty weird story, but it's one of my absolute favorites. And Michael J. Fox played the role perfectly. I will never not love it.
I'm sorry, *Michael J Fox* is in this Movie!?!?
Yep!
Yeah it's a weird story no doubt not as popular as E.B. Whites other book Charlotte's Web but equally good
same
Ayyy I'm so excited for this video 😊🩷 I've seen this movie a million times and I 🩷 it, I was 6 when it came out lol

There’s part 2 and 3 can you reaction them ?
Will you also watch the 2 and 3 please ?
Ever watched 1996 The Relic?
You should definitely watch two and three and then you should definitely think about watching Christopher Robin. I know that’s another good one to.
This was one of my favorite movies when I was a kid

My mom had two cats that resembled Smokey. I think one was named Smokey actually.
I watched this growing up, and I never realized Michael J. Fox played the Voise of Stuart. it's probably because it's been so long since I watched this movie.
Still odd to me how they went to the orphanage for a child and came out with a mouse😂, but still love this movie but Stuart little 2 is my favorite
This was a childhood movie for me and I loved it to bits. I still do despite its flaws. Have your daughter watch this with you next time I'm sure she'll like it!
I watch it with my mom for the first time in the theaters
First time I watched this movie was when I was in third or fourth grade. Whole class took a field trip to the theatre to watch it.
I love this movie and it’s sequel🥰
I can understand how Snow felt when Stuart moved in. It's like having a chicken nugget being adopted into my human family that I can't eat.
9:23 he was Doctor House though.
I don’t understand why several people hate this movie. I personally like it!
same
That cat is Timone from The Lion King! I just realized that lol
Nathan Lane is his name. hes been in quite alot
my first question when i rewatched this as an adult. how is he strong enough to open doors? lol
Jennifer tilly is very incredible in the Stuart Little movie.
9:28 Oh, he was a doctor…
They are fake Stuart Little's parents had an accident and Died I've Seen This Movie 🍿 Before That's How I Know 😢 😅
You should watch the children’s books based movies like Charlotte web which was written 5 years after Stuart little. Or the roahl dahl stories like Matilda or the witches or James and the giant peach.
Please please do James and the Giant Peach, Bebe's Kids and Who Framed Roger Rabbit!! They are great classics!
My movie!!
bare in mind mice live only a few years at best. so its not a good idea to have one as a son. hes just pet that talks lol
Wach open season 1 and 2
Im unsubbing for the editing alone. Watching the movie reaction in that tiny bubble isnt worth my time or anyone elses. You should be in the bubble and the movie full screen
Jeffery Jones was the only bad thing about this movie
