First check your main fuse to the bike. Big green 30 amp fuse which is located just in the middel between drivers and passengers seat under the cowel. After that if still nothing. Change you regulator/ rectifier and your stator together. That should fix your problem.
If you ever get the chance you should go try El Toro Bravo Tortilleria there in Costa Mesa. Best burritos and tacos you will find in Costa Mesa, and they dont skimp on the meat. Its one of those places that you would just drive past unless you have actually eaten there.

my grom was having problems it would just die all a sudden.. i replace fuel pump. fuel filter.. injector and spark plug.. work fine for one day then did it more.. took it to shop.. it took them 3 hours they found 4 connections that were fucked.. they fix them and say my starter switch is about to go bad.. it started right up at the shop.. when i stop and fill up at gas station.. it didnt want to work.. had to bump start it.. the thing is... i dont know if i want to replace it or even mess with it since now my bike is running normal again. and if the only problem i have now is i have to bump start it.. its annoying but its better then a bike that wont work.
