I love the potential of Likely, and believe he deserves 100 targets at that catch percentage. If he lines up in the slot, who walks out there with him that looks good unless they have a Kyle Hamilton? He's a match up nightmare already imo who will dominate single coverage, especially if his guy has to even look in Henry's direction during the route.
I know when his contract come they need to find a way to resign him or extend him next year because he's going to end up putting up numbers that will make him expensive.
Can you do a breakdown of Andrews as an in line blocking tight end? If Andrews can be our everydown in line tight end while maintaining his Receiving ability, that would make the passing offense a lot more dangerous.
@@all_22_films I check out everything. I am like the jealous gf when I see Lions videos on your channel 🤣. He is good - my guy is co-sleeping which is fine, provided I am getting the sleep I need for the day hahaha. But he's stringing those 2 words together and we're calling out the figures our Goodnight Moon each night. Feels like only yesterday we were just learning how to walk.
Likely is going to be a star he is a freak athlete. I like Andrew's and Likely on the field at the same time. If we can get him 65 targets this season, I'm seeing 600 yds and 8 Tds. I think he is why we didn't take a receiver early in the draft. If we give him opportunities he will perform.
I was so glad that Likely got as much play-time as he was able to, while Andrews was out. Isaiah did great ! It was more than a little unsettling that when Mark came back, Isaiahs targets dried up to what seemed like almost nothing. We could have used him more in the AFC Championship game. I thought, given enough targets, Isaiah could possibly even surpass Andrews' abilities.
The receiving threat that Andrews and Likely offer will be even more lethal with the addition of Henry. It allows Monken to remain versatile in play calls using 2, 3, & even 4 tight end sets with Kolar or Ricard depending if you want the extra blocker or dual threat. Jumbo sets with zay out wide, and Andrews or Likely as slot with the other inline, and then ricard as the H back with henry? Scary scary
How do we get Likely and Andrews on the field at the same time?! For lack of a better example, Hernandez + Gronk situation would be awesome. Andrews in line + Likely in the slot would be fun.
I love Likely, he is an amazing player. Not sure if he will be as good as Mark. But he's dam close. I wouldn't even be mad if we traded Andrews to free cap space and get draft capital for the future
Still need 6 or 7 WRs just to protect themselves from any potential injury issues. Unless some random top tier player becomes available. But the group as currently situated has a lot of potential!
I think for now likely will have to be a situational kinda thing, the team we a re playing is generally getting a lot of pressure from the edge and it's becoming to much of a problem then keep pat Ricard in. But if the edges are being well care of I think pat Ricard is ok being subbed out in favor I likely
Likely has one hell of a stiff arm it’s so fun watching him play. Todd monken has a golden opportunity to use both mark andrews and Likely together hopefully he figures it out
This man is why we aren’t overpaying receivers. I sadly think likey’s getting traded after this season if he plays to the same efficiency-we can prally damn near get a 2 or more for him I swear.
Now we are talking! Next stage for you, coach, to accept the fact that the Ravens' offense is better when Likely is on the field and Andrews is not. Call me crazy asf but I will be there patiently waiting for you as long as it takes.
@@napoleongee172 Most of all Likely catches football very naturally in different scenarios. He attacks football with correct hands position. He tracks football better with his eyes and agjusts his body position at the catch point. It leads to him being a much better contested ball catcher. Andrews is a body catcher who consistently awaits football coming to his bucket and gives defenders a chance to make a play. It limits him not being a reliable target in certain situations. He also catches football using his palms but not fingers which leads to awkward drops in most critical moments of games. Isaiah has more wiggle in his movement skills, some of his routes are WR-esque. And more importantly he is better YAC guy than Andrews. With that said Lamar is often way too overfocused on getting football to Andrews when he is on the field which limits effectiveness of the offense overall. The Ravens destroyed most of their top opponents last year without Andrews being on active roster which led to some scheme changes and allowed for more guys to be productive.
@@HeX04yXa I love them both we can uplift one without putting the other down. I think we need both of them on the field at the same time. Andrews has did a lot for the Ravens and is top 5 in the league. I do agree with you about Lamar looking for him specifically but that because he trust him and Andrew delivers. I think they just need to work on Lamar trusting everyone else to complete a play. I think Lamar is like that because management never really gave him help on the receiving end they only focus on defense. The Ravens will win the SB if they use Andrews, Zay, Likely, Bateman and the new receiver.
@@mrs.lovely8527 yeah we can BUT... Harbaugh and Lamar can not. This is relatively low volume passing offense due to the Harbaugh's way of winning in football. And Lamar is way too focused on finding Andrews to the detriment of the whole offense. When Andrews is out it naturally helps Lamar to spread the ball and be more efficient passer. What Andrews did in the past means a lot for memories of fan base but not leads to future success. One should never live in the past.
The only other player who could make that catch against the Jags where LJ scrambles would be Andrews. That was not just a great catch, but a gutsy one too with 2 defenders there to hit him as he's stretched out. Beautiful play to get out of trouble.
@@ezekwu I think they purposely don’t play him, so he can’t show his real value. Sample size servings of his talent, then they’ll pay you like that smh. NFL is a weird business.
@@Final_Resolution i knew it, you're threatened that a white man is being outplayed by a black man at his position, so you're trying to blame lamar for the fact that your man andrews would be nothing without lamar force feeding him the ball, face it likely is the far better option, and depending on andrews is holding the team back...
Absolute stud likely is, every time he's involved in the offence he produces, need him on the field!
He is number one TE to me

Wow, what a great comparison there. Showing your age there man!

Great video, Coach ,I am a big fan of Isiah Likely, and i hope we don't waste his talent and have him on the sideline. He needs to be on the field. 😮

Great points. I agree. He can produce 8-10 TD's on less than 90 targets. Which is very unique.
Isaiah Likely is the big sure-handed Wide Receiver we need. Ignore the 'TE' beside his name.
Agree.
Love seeing all Likely’s success!!! I been telling ppl since we drafted him how good he is !!! 💜🖤💜🖤
All you had to do was watch him after andrews got hurt . You'll see an absolute stud
Gosh this video has me so excited for this next season! It's our year this time around! 💜💜💜
Likely should be extended asap along with stephens>
Top 10 TE. Since that Colts drop to seal that game he said he told Lamar that will never happen again. Every since then he was a monster
