How the composer composed centuries ago with an intensity of emotion. The performance is very impressive ... While I am listening, I go back centuries .
merci a m righetti pour la decouverte de cette musique que je decouvre ici !la musique et sans limites , comme votre talent ! merci a rachel kolly d alba qui et en plein accord avec l orgue , pas facile !
Lovely and powerful performance. I also appreciated how they both loved playing and you could see this. Thank you. Very good choice of socks too - completely matched the colour scheme. : -)
A totally new piece to me - heard it first this morning on Classic FM while driving home. Once home HAD to investigate and found your rendering. As a pipe organ devotee most of my 70+ years this had to be my choice and it is fabulous indeed. So beautifully done both of you and thank you - Theresa (Cambridge UK)
Holy macaroni.. I was looking for a better quality track of Heifetz (because it sounds like it clips at certain points) but found this instead. The moments when they both crescendo together into the theme of the piece it literally takes my breath away. And with every other articulation they’re spot on with each other. Dang good performance
Beautiful performance! My daughter (violinist) wants to perform this with organ. What arrangement did you use for the organ? Where could I obtain such an arrangement?
peter allison Thank you! A Nagra VI, good microphones (Geffel M221, DPA 4006...) well placed, editing on Pyramix... if you give yourself the means, it's not very difficult to make good sound, even on RUclips! ;)
About that vibrato...........would it be as noticeable if we couldnt see it? I tried closing my eyes, and just listening. One of my favourites is Milsteins version.
Bah c'est Heifetz quoi, difficile de faire mieux. Dommage que son enregistrement date, qu'est-ce que ça aurait été avec le matériel d'enregistrement d'aujourd'hui !
All the notes you hear are hardly baroque anymore : version arranged and imagined by Léopold Charlier (1867-1936) already adapted by Ferdinand David (1810-1873) from a piece attributed to Tomaso Vitali. We are not even sure that Vitali wrote himself this piece... very much arranged and altered version for all violinists in the world. But the music remains beautiful.
@@davidbenjamin4798 You and your thumbs-up cheerleader(s) don't seem to know that _schmaltzy_ means "excessively sentimental." The performance IS excessively sentimental, i.e., schmaltzy, and barely recognizable as a performance of a work of the Baroque.

Saw a playlist with this song so I tried to find the song itself so I could then play it on loop, worth the 20 minutes it took to find it.
I'm just hearing this magnificent piece over and over and over. Just amazing.

Fully agree... This is a perfect, powerful performance by two super-talented musicians really in sync with each other!
Liste to versión of Joseph Suk it's wonderfull and greatest❤
Shocking! This is otherworldly music! When I listen to it, i'm in heaven or in hell, but certainly not in this world
sublime

Can't wait new things!👍👍👍👍
I can check a new style of Mr. Organist.
Heaven on earth
Double pouce bleu 😁
Double merci !! ;)
Any chance i could buy this on itunes ?? i would really love this variation.
Beautiful performance! My daughter (violinist) wants to perform this with organ. What arrangement did you use for the organ? Where could I obtain such an arrangement?
This is my own arrangement, but I did it from memory on the piano part... so no score for this transcription!
Benjamin, I have watched all your videos, and the sound is awesome, as I have an interest in recording the organ, tho sadly do not play :-(

A 19th century villian recently thinking of a new way to spite every enemy he had, and ever will have, in one go.
😂😂😂
it would be great to hear Benjamin playing the Widor toccata, have you never thought to record it?
Yes, I'd even like to do the whole symphony! Well, I have so many desires... but it will come!
@@BenjaminRighetti excellent!!!🙌🙌
4:50 words cant describe. one can only listen but cant say anything.
Where is the church ? Who was the organ builder ? Ah ! Just got it ! St. Francois, Lausanne.
Yes!! Visit www.organopole.com for more informations! ;)
is this copyright free? can i use this in a short movie i'm making?
Yes! Just mention us clearly in the credits! ;)

absolute gorgeous.. is it somehow possible to get the sheets?
Benjamin where can someone rent or obtain the parts to the lovely transcription?
Sorry, I didn't write it...
Linus Tech Tips can play organ?
fazlasıyla iyi :)

amazing! 개인적으로 오케스트라 곡보다 훨씬!
Do you have the score and parts of this piece? That would have been wonderful. I find allot on your page/Imslp, but not this one.
It sounds great!
I did not write this transcription, I simply annotated the piano score... sorry! ;)
nice socks
Came here because of Detective Conan
Warum mit derart viel Vibrato? Passt doch nicht ........
Schmaltzy performance. Barely recognizable as a work of the Baroque. A fine violinist, I'm sure, though it's a shame about the palsy in her left hand.

And brilliantly performed. Really stirring and emotional!

@@RachelKolly The so-called music is ugly.
Not perfect but good enough.
