What I love about KF1 - is the gun sounds, escpecially 9mm, deagle, shotguns. Although KF2 still has much more greater animations, but gun impact on sounds is kinda weak. Just compare 9mm, deagle, M99 - you'll see how different it feels. I'll be honest here - I love KF2 cocking shotgun animation, looks awesome. Especially pumps.
KF1 sound design relies on more detailed and loud sound... i appreciate that. But for me, KF2 sound design is more sync to the gun itself... like, i appreciate a quiter sound of KF2 9mm pistol, which is great for me... cause i'll spam click on it and doesnt have to bother with loud sound.
Kf1 = self-designed sounds (made) Kf2 = premade sounds (bought) Its pretty much the same sound designer Ryan See , but during the beta kf2 alot of premade sounds from a library
So generally KF1 reloading sounds are better than in KF2 and both games have an equal ratio of good shooting sounds. For example, KF2 SCAR-H shooting sounds are better than that from KF1 in my opinion and Mkb42 shooting sounds are better than that from KF2. Also there are weapons from both games that sound better in both aspects from their counterparts. For example: god I love KF1's M9 and MK23, they are much better than KF2's M9 and M1911 respectively. And I also love KF2's MP5 it also is better sounding both at reloading and firing than its KF1's counterpart So both games are great, a little shame KF2 didn't succeed KF1 in every aspect

Yeah I think though KF2 animations is a lot more detailed, it lacked some of the weight in KF1
