- Al Reynolds, the former co-host of Claudia Jordan, Armon Wiggins on Fox Soul's now defunct youtube show TEA-GIF is finally speaking out about his experience on the show. Reynolds sat down with Marissa Mitchell of FoxDC where he shared how uncomfortable it was when his co-hosts (alongside guest Luenelle) made him extremely uncomfortable when they made fun of his sexuality.
"I felt like it was ill-intentioned. It was mean-spirited. It didn’t come from the space of trying to use our platform to help people understand. I thought it was a dig. It felt bad. It felt uncomfortable."

All three were culpable for the cancellation of the show. These three people allegedly made $250,000 for one hour of work in their homes reading off cue cards and allowed ego to keep them from getting a bag. Everybody’s trying to blame Al. Al has had a job, he’s over fifty years of age, TGIF was not his only source of income, he’s also a professor at a Black university. As far as I know, this was Claudia’s main income, making 250-300 thousand dollars a year with TGIF. Also, she’s been on everybody’s platform because this was her main form of income, and she just bought a house in Texas. Arman has had a RUclips channel for a couple of years, he originally started off working with Tasha K, that job lasted 29 to 40 days. Al has maintained a job, he is also known as what is called a Grand Strategist. And he knew celebrities before he was on TGIF with Claudia, she needs somebody to blame other than herself. By the way, Karens can also be Black, remember now, her mother is white.
It wasn’t the first time he’s addressed it so why get pissed about it. It’s possible Luenell had no clue.

It was extremely unfair that they would bring Luenell on to ask Al such a personal question. That was low down and extremely mean spirited. Armon was weak to have fallen into that trap. But because everything we the public see and hear is just hearsay we can’t point fingers at anyone. We are just speculating. People like when people who are gaining success fall, not thinking that you too can fall. I hope that this was a learning experience for those who may get the opportunity to get on a platform such as Tea G I F. Decorum matters. We all can fall to temptation.

I liked AL before but I like and support him even much more now. He has always shown outward professionalism & class while still being funny and informed on the show. Some viewers found him corny and only wanted mess & drama but we could see he was being prepped for something bigger than this. Michelle is 100% right about how they provided time & space for AL to speak on this on the NETWORK while the colorist has been in the gutters & slums of the internet comments sections fighting for her relevancy and for her "broadcast journalist" life. LOL now I don't mean to revel in someone's downfall but I love how her true personality has been her demise. I can't root for someone who never sees herself as the problem. People have been saying it for years about her, her bad attitude & privilege created an entitled monster. Now 2 cancelled FlopSoul shows later her resume shows SHE had a hand and played a part in the downfall of two major projects. She claimed to be the face for both these big shows right? Her ideas her "babies", right? Cool. Then take responsibility for your (stolen) ideas flopping then. But let's watch how she will continue to take ZERO accountability or humble herself.

Doesn’t seem like a corporate show would shut down for any of these reasons. But they clearly all had issues amongst one another they never got a chance to resolve. Al sometimes contradicts himself on TEA GIF and he gets upset when people make him aware of it. He goes “professional” instead of “accountable”. The rest of the cast who get called out laugh it off or admit it. I ❤ Al but that’s a fact.
