Wow I've never seen them in real life. They look so relaxing. But I pay more attention to the birds walking around and watching them as if "who are you? This is my place. You are so big and weird 😅".
Wow! 1:23 / 7:15 -1:30 / 7:15 is the cutest thing I've ever seen any seal do ever. I didn't even know they could scratch themselves, let alone, in the that orientation, position, direction, angle, etc... Adorable and hilariously timed for the perfect perspective and field depth to catch it without refocusing or adjusting the optics. Just all around great work with the video and I hope it doesn't sound like I'm being rude or disregarding the rest of the great shots and moments of comedic genius from this particular species of seals that were most likely bred for all of our mutual laughter and the often recorded random and quirky behavior which would seem to be exclusive to these Snork-Snozzed, Snoozin', Snackin', Nostril-Gnashing, Head-Butting, Tenaciously Tussling, Ten-Inch Tool-Toting, Tremendously Towering, Torso Toppling, Trunk Tooting, Tusk-less, Tornados of Teeth and Testosterone. The only sea-mammal, whose group alone's born, deserving the right to "Toot Their Own Horn"... thanks for the content
@@californiawildlife3332 I cannot wait to see that, and I appreciate the comment whether or not it was meant as a compliment like the way I heard it lol I thank you kindly for the acknowledgment and response to the "book" and I'm sorry it was such a long rant. But in all seriousness and sincerity, I loved the video and again, it is literally the cutest thing I've ever seen right after my son.
Beautiful video. In the foreground the elephant seals in the background the moving sea, respectively the waves crashing on the beach and between the elephant seals the birds. Just awesome!!!
@@NickLeeds I had this question before. The answer is: They are so heavy with all the fat they gain when they feed in the sea, they won't move much on land. These elephant seals are alive.

It feels like I am reading Dr. Seuss. Thank you for watching. They will come back (for breeding season) in December, so get ready.

Rarely saw an alpha male N. Elephant Seal being so gentle to female during breeding season. It's somehow a soothing scene to watch.

I always want to put a small piece of sea water in the videos. Thank you!
@@californiawildlife3332 This is one of the reasons why I love your videos so much. The salt water awakens the longing and wanderlust in me!!!
Are the seven other seals in front of the largest elephant seal alive??they aren't moving don't seem to be breathing

Female Elephant Seal: "Babe, you're taking up all the warm sand."
Male Elephant Seal: "Stop exaggerating. There's plenty of warm sand for both of us."
hahahaha... Oh dear!
I love how they blend in like rocks in the landscape
Papa rocks, mama rocks and baby rocks. Baby rocks look like volcanic rocks.

This is undoubtedly the most relaxed f**k I have ever witnessed! These pinnipeds are on Quaaludes or something.
He was a big one.
Все чинно,спокойно,размеренно😀😁
Looks like the female bit the male twice lol 😆
hehe
He probably loved it
@@wandabanks6756 Oh yes. They are actually very romantic. The brutal acts among the bulls can be misleading.
