I've been going to Dollywood since I was a kid. Experienced it in the Summer, experienced it at Christmas, and every season in between...but I will have to say this is the FIRST time I have experienced it when the park was closed. What's your top ride to do at the Ol' Dollywood???
@ I miss the launch it had before but it’s still a hell of a ride. It’s much more reliable now so down time has been greatly reduced. I was there this last season and went to the park on a delayed opening. Was able to ride Lightning Rod three times in a row and walk right on each time. It was a great day at Dollywood because it was like having the park to ourselves. The very next day Lightning Rod’s wait time was about 50 mins.
Tennessee Tornado! One of my favorite coasters out there! But Wild Eagle is hands down my number one at Dollywood....probably top 3 all time. Killer shots 🤘
Well it's been years since I have been to Dollywood. And the rides I road were much smaller and less exilerating than the ones they have now. I use to love amusement parks but since I've gotten older, I don't go anymore. Someone once said about amusement parks, they are a childs best dream and a parents nightmare 😁 I've gotten old enough now, that memories of them are good enough! It looks rather ghostly though with it down for the season!
@IantoAndIvory looked like they were removing all of the games in the country fair area. The rides seemed to be all.in tactics. The only thing I noticed was the roof at the Scrambler looked like it may have been missing....but then again that could be the way it was built.
@LucasKerley I received some tips on a few rides I didn't film. I may go back to see what's going on with them. Apparently Dare Devil Falls getting some sort of update. And I totally forgot to check out the area near Barnstormer. Hoping to get back down that way before season open.
Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father but by me. John 14:6. Ask Him into your life make Him your Lord & Savior and you will go to Heaven. Amen.

Wild Eagle by far! 🦅
Agreed!
Lightning Rod is still my fave!
@joealfanophotography9568 what's crazy is I've yet to ride it. Seems like every time I've been to the park it's down. Maybe some day, looks awesome!

Boy, it's changed so much from when it was Silver Dollar City. Even from when I went 20 years ago as Dollywood.
That drone has a whole lot of distance. Amazing

Thanks a ton Sam! Glad you enjoyed it!
Looks like ol Tennessee Tornado is getting some love. It needed it.

Came here to see which Country Fair ride is warninglessly biting the dust this season

Looks like the flying elephants are gone
@wixard7 I think you're right
Never been there, enjoyed the view! Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I never been there it looks like a fun theme park.
Great footage
@@DougYeager-i8b Thanks!
Still lots of storm clean up that needs to be done from the major flooding that happened up there
For sure, I have a video coming out tomorrow shows some of the updates and how far they've came with the recovery.
Hoping to see if any construction on project 2026 starts with the new season

What happened to the park?
Nothing has happened to the park...they are making changes to some of the areas and rides though. Country Fair apparently getting revamped for one.
@Offroadviking ok it looked abandoned to me
Gotcha, Yeah it's closed for the winter...so in ways I guess it is right now haha
