I hope you would consider putting all of your sketchbooks up on RUclips. Sketchbook reviews are my favorite type of video from all the artists on RUclips that I follow.
I see some early Skyheart stuff. I imagine it must be amazing to see this and remember that you weren't sure if you would ever do something with that story and now it's fully backed and ready to go! Congrats. I appreciate your work, and style.
I really admire the sense of weight you characters have. Would you consider doing a video about giving figures a sense of weight? What I mean by that is, when I draw figures, they tend to look like they are frozen or cardboard. I would love a tips video.
You should add like flint to Skull Chasers shoes that way when he needs to start his rocket pack, he stomps or kicks the ground and sparks the rocket into ignition and launches off! That would be AWESOME to see!
Jake, I just stumbled upon your channel and this is excellent! Very.. Hmm how to say this... A gift of yourself? Much appreciated, from a long time fan. (And that Samus sketch... so much want!)
Awesome video, love your sketches :) I really like your style and the use of markers Can I just inquire how you filmed it? Do you have a proper camera stand or did you improvise? (I've been wanting to film a sketchbook video for a while now, but my camera stand isn't quite versatile, it only turns 180 vertically.. :/ )
Jake Parker also, curious as to what kind of sketchbook that is? i've been looking around for something similar but the closest i've found didnt have the stitched (yours looks threaded) binding, instead they're glued...quite poorly i might add
+AThoughtProvokingUsername They're moleskines--"XL" 8x10 size. They work really great with his style and tools--singular, cartoony figures in colored pencil or copic. They kind of have the shittiest paper of any sketchbook available though--you can't draw on both sides of the paper. They also don't even take regular HB or H graphite pencil imo--too smooth, waxy, squeaky. I guess he just likes all the materials he uses with them anyway so it's great, but they would be such an awesome book for on-site sketching due to the size and shape--I just wish they made the exact one with at least 80 lbs paper so you could use light wash, and to draw 2-page panoramas.

You are so creative! I really like drawing but most of the time I don't have any idea of what to draw :( What can I do to be more creative?
Good question. I'll tackle that question in my next video.
Jake Parker hahaha i was just thinking about that...i've been going through a bit of a creative / motivation block lately...
