I nearly bought these, glad I found this video…not sure I have the patience for this much work to get them installed!

Yes. Yes. Yes. More videos like this, please. It might just be the production of the RUclips video, but it sure seems like a great vibe at this event. The trails appear to have lots of optional, and or bypasses, if someone like me would drive 1,700+ miles to get there. 👍

Not HD enough for my build, but then again, not everyone needs the kind protection I do when I crawl the mall!

Looks like they do their job perfectly.

I put that passenger side center frame mount on just like you did, but the bolt holes do not line up with the bolts holes on the 2 other mounts on that side. There is only about 1/8" clearance between the mounting face of that bracket, and the body of the Jeep. The 2 other brackets have about 1" clearance to the body of the Jeep. LOD does not want to make this right.

      That seems weird.
Did you get your LOD sliders from Northridge4x4?

Yes, I did. You guys have been great. You guys got LOD to send me another frame mount, but it was identical to the original, and had the same problem. The driver side of the Jeep mounted up just fine.@@northridgenation

Damn, okay - i got the steps/sliders on and these are great - BUT i just have a regular allen wrench and i'm not able to get the steel plates on enough with that - they just keep sliding front to back (the slider, that is) and not staying put -the bolts/screws it came with are also much shorter than the ones on this video - would love any advice you can throw my way - ty again! :)

Not sure what the problem may be Jeff. We had to make sure the tee nut on the backside was locking in, then they tightened up tight.

@@northridgenation I spoke (via email) with somebody at LOD - they're sending me a new set with a washer, since apparently, this has happened a few times before. At least I'm not crazy! LOL - Thanks! :-) Love your videos

IMO… not worth it. First time scratching them like you did is gonna make burrs on them. We all know when you step out your jeep you don’t always use the step. And what is those burrs gonna do… yep… ruin your clothes when you slide past them. And for the people that say they “always” would use your step … your kidding yourself… period. I’m sure there’s people that are gonna want these… sure go ahead… but I did warn you.
