I’m pretty sure a lot of GR86 customers had their warranties void after doing a track day. Specifically one where it was his free Toyota track day. Engine failed due to the excess oil pan silicon that was picked up in the engine oil pickup and Toyota voided the warranty because he filmed it on track when it failed. Two unrelated things since the silicon issue was in a lot of cars but they denied it since it was on track. And I’m pretty sure it was his free track day experience he got with his car.
Yeah, that's the thing... toyota has it in their disclaimer that they get the final call whether it's covered or not so technically it's a gamble. That sucks that happened to him. I would be ticked, especially if it was a stock car that was because used for the free track day. I wouldn't give that one up too easily but I'm sure they worded their disclaimer in a way that would give them a loophole
Thanks for the Info. Corvette owners get 2 day 1 night owner's class at Ron Fellows out side of Las Vegas. You drive Their car, not yours for $1000. You buy a brand new Z06, you get to blast around track in the 670HP flat plane crank Z06 for 2 days for $1000.
I leased my GRC (shortest lease period) with the option to buy (which I plan on). I was told that I would still be receiving my NASA membership which I have not yet received. I’ve had the car since late March so I may reach out to Toyota themselves for a definite answer.
If you opted out of receiving promotional materials or ads when you bought your car, you won't receive the NASA packet. You have to reach out and opt back into receiving promotional material.

@@tylerlastname3236 yes normally I would opt out of stuff like that but with this situation, I think I opted in. Honestly think my dealership was just not that great. Super nice people, but they didn’t even do the post delivery inspection correctly like leaving shipping blocks in the suspension and leaving the inflation to the tires at above 50 psi. I still have to do a paint correction on my car because they did so horrible with taking off the vinyl protection.

Nice ! Definitely reach out to the dealer and ask them what the hold up is. I'm not sure about the whole lease thing

I bought mine brand new at the end of June 24’ and I haven’t received this packet😢
It's about time to call the dealership and make sure they filled out the correct paperwork for you in order to receive it.

Ford gives free track day if you buy a new next gen ranger raptor
Seriously? That pretty awesome if that's true although it would be way more fun on a dirt track or something off road
Did you get track insurance?
No. And they never gave me the option
Thats how they gonna get out of engine fire claims lol. Snakes
🤣🤣🤣 Geez I hope not.. they are ruthless towards us 😂

They invite you to just void your warranty
That's entrapment and that's illegal
Don't go 85mph or else your warranty gets voided
Too late brotha 😆 🤣
